Nice hotel with great breakfast
The room is spacious, location is fantastic, the breakfast is nice

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The room is nice and spacious. Its located very near to the BTS, MRT station. I didnt use much of the service but front desk people always smile. The breakfast is nice and has variety of choices.
Restaurant Tip:
If you are on budget. The foodcourt in the Terminal 21 mall has nice food and surprisingly very cheap.

Big room and good facility

The service is good. It made me suprise when step in the room with fully furnish and also big bathroom.The buffet breakfast was great and change all the time. So many food and it really amazing~

Great location, lovely hotel and helpful staff
Location very near the sukhumvit entertain area, hotel was nice with friendly staff.

Location was just off the main street and is very quiet. The room is quite nice and very clean. Bathroom is very clean and all the needed toiletries are provided. Buffet breakfast came with the room so I had a chance to eat the same breakfast for four days as the food hardly changed during my stay. The most tasty part of the breakfast was the Danish pastry. The small Japanese selection is also passable but the meat and vegetable selections are largely tasteless.

Big disappointment, nothing like advertised

The hotel was noisy, the reception area is full of taxi drivers and smells terrible. The room had carpeted floors which did not impress us as clean enough. Bathrooms are extremely small. The hotel area is off the main street. Hard to find decent breakfast around at early hours. Robinson and Terminal 21 nearby were not worth our staying at this hotel. One good thing - it is close to Nana train station.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do not choose Sukhumvit area as your destination to stay. It is full of beggars, street vendors and noise.

quite large room, in the heart of the city

the hotel is in the center of the city, within walking distance (less than 500m) to the nearest bts (sky train), terminal 21, and soi cowboy --one of the famous thailand red district.
the room and the beds was quite large and was comfortable. floor was carpeted. however the furniture are quite old and seem very fragile, and probably wouldn't be the best choice if you're looking for a hotel with a view.
in short words, this hotel was quite comfortable and one of my favorite for its location.

Nice hotel, showing its age

I stayed at the Manhattan Hotel for four nights as part of a business trip. I was impressed at the customer service when I checked in, but disappointed in the accommodations: The bed and other furnishings were pretty basic, and the TV was looking quite old as well. But the old-style bathtub was excellent--deep and comfortable--and the breakfast buffet was very nice. Speaking of food, the Korean restaurant--Jinseng (or some such variation)--was also quite good, and I've since been told by a Korean friend that the food there is better than most of the restaurants in Bangkok's Korea Town.
For the casual traveler, this is a good choice, but I wouldn't recommend it for any special events. A good, practical hotel that could use a remodeling to compete with the plethora of cheaper, newer hotels in the area.
Shopping Tip:
The Manhattan Hotel is just a stone's throw for Sukhimvit and the new Terminal21 shopping center which I highly recommend for those of you who like an interesting shopping experience. There is excellent food--farang and Thai--all around the area, so enjoy your stay!
