Manohra Hotel Bangkok Info
First opening its door in 1966, this hotel has been satisfying customers for over 40 years. Located in Sliom district, the hotel is in the business district of the city, and also close to attractions like the night markets. A skytrain station is within walking distance, and makes it convenient to access the shopping areas of Siam as well as popular nightlife venues in the Thai capital. The modern and stylish rooms are well furnished and all offer all basic amenities. Beyond this there is a 24 hour business center, an indoor swimming pool, a disco and karaoke. After a day touring Bangkok, or partying the night away at one of the city's many venues, head over to Kinnaree for a relaxing massage. Great price, fantastic breakfast, nice staff Internet a bit expensive, location a little far from the skytrain, but easily accessible by taxi (always available in front of the hotel) I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, it is a great value for the money, especially with the large choice and good quality breakfast. The rooms are not very pretty, but definitely fine and clean. I would recommend it if you are on a budget and want to stay in a nice clean hotel in Bangkok.

Good value, good location, Excellence service, good food, and a indoors pool. Not the highest standard of rooms, but it is what you pay for. If you're planning to be shopping and partying till late - than this is a good choice! if you like being near centre but still not in the middle of all the shopping chaos, then this is a great location. You are a couple of minutes walk to Sky Bar/Lebua state tower - with gorgeous view of whole of BKK. Drinks are pretty pricy but a must try is the SKY drink! ;) Manohra is also very close to patpong market...it is walking distance approx 25 mins, but not recommended. Tuk-tuk is little bit pricier but defo the best way to get around. If you are planning to be out and about and looking for a good price hotel - this is recommended. The standard of the hotel rooms are just OK! The plus side is that the service is EXCELLENT, and although indoors, they have a nice pool - which is great if you have children.
Nightlife Tip : Sky Bar @ Lebua State Tower - try the sky drink...my favourite!

The hotel is located a bit far from a sky-train station and central tourist area. However, a connection to main railway station is good that is very convenient for those who want to travel further. The maintainance is good and the staff is very friendly. The tariff is reasonable by considering the amenities in the room. All types of food are available within 200 mts. distance. The hotel is suitable mainly for a couple. I definitely will stay in the same hotel in the future also.
