we were simply passing thru Bangkok but we had a glitch with our luggage - got left in another country (thanks to Royal Brunei) the lady at the desk spoke to the airline (in Thai) for me and sorted it all out - very thankful.

modern and comfortable rooms with all amenities needed for an overnight stay close to BKK airport. Wifi is fast and easy to set up, free juice and snacks in the lobby area. Transportation to the airport available at 150 Bht if not booked with reservation. No elevator available.
Restaurant Tip:
Nice and delicious fish BBQ places in short walking distance.

Spent one night after dropping off family at airport. Nice room, no lift to 2nd floor, didnt see facilities for those that cant manage stairs.
Welcoming lounge/reception, free orange juice and lovely free coffee!

Friendly Staff right from the Airport Pickup

We received a very friendly welcome at the airport despite the late hour. After a short ride to the hotel we were again greeted by a friendly and efficient staff person. At registration we were asked 3 important questions - what time is your next flight departing? Do you want to use the internet? (complimentary by the way) and what time would you like a wakeup call?
The room was very clean and quiet, and the breakfast more than adequate for the price.
In our experience over the years the Mariya offers good value for transit passengers -or even for staying a couple of days
Shopping Tip:
You can catch the airport shuttle and take the train to downtown Bangkok; or you can take a taxi over to a huge shopping center called Mega Bangna and go ice skating if you get tired of shopping.

This was a lovely local hotel and the staff were evry accomodating. Good for an overnight stopover as it's very close to the airport. Quite far to the shopping district though 30min taxi ride away. Very good value!
