The photos are much better than the actual room. There is no elevator. When we woke up in the morning there was a huge dead cockroach on the floor. Also, breakfast is not that good.

Nice hotel but not that near the airport

The Mariya Boutique Residence is certainly a haven from the bustle of Bangkok, though for an airport hotel it's not as near the airport as one might like. This is made up for, however, by the quality of the room, which was quite luxurious, and certainly facilitates a good night's sleep. The hotel could do with a restaurant or bar, but there's actually one right next door, so not a huge problem. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Restaurant Tip:
Go next door to eat/drink (though note the waitresses are slightly over-attentive...)

met on arrival and transfered to hotel in 15minutes. room was functional, clean and nicely decorated. hotel staff friendly and helpful with a 24hr tea/coffee biscuit facility in reception as well as coffee making facilities in room. "zone" bar and restaurant next door serviced by very pleasant staff although no wine available by the glass. many cheaper thai style road side cafes within a few minutes walk of the hotel. would use again for late arrival /early departure one night stays.

Great hotel for short interlude between flights
Clean, well maintined nice room decor... all at a good value price

Hotel is located about 15 - 20 minutes from airport depending upon traffic - but free shuttle was comfortable and driver polite.
While room smallish, was comfortable with several amenities and a nice bit of Thai decor.
Building has several floors and no elevator - quieter upstairs but a bit of a hike to get there.
Staff very accommodating and friendly -- will go back in future!

i booked this hotel as i was looking for somewhere to stay close to the airport. other "airport hotels" that i have stayed in are actually not very close to the airport but mariya was convenient and the airport shuttle was easy to use.
pre-book the airport shuttle and there will be someone at the airport waiting for you. to return to the airport, the shuttle leaves every half hour.
the rooms were clean and newly decorated. the wireless internet worked well. although there was a bit of noise when people were in the hallway, i did not hear any noise coming from the adjoining rooms.
breakfast was average but enough to fill you up. i will stay here again when i am transferring at the airport. unless you are looking for convenience to the airport, this hotel would not be the right choice for seeing bangkok.

miraya
arrived suvarnabhumi approx 10:30 pm. after some confusion, more on our own part, we met the driver. less than 10 minute transfer to mariya via mini-bus. check-in was quick. no lifts there (very common in small hotels in thailand), but gentleman from desk took our bags upstairs. our room was very clean and neat. twin beds. small enclosed balcony for me to have a cigarette. mini-bar good, and a few things, like noodles, free. nice for late-comers. shower excellent. good buffet style breakfast in morning, coffee great. our transfer back to suvarnabhumi next morning on-time. i would not recommend the mariya for those wanting to stay in bangkok for extended stay - too far from there to city. for those wanting an overnight stay close to airport? perfect! staff polite, courteous and helpful.

Hotel was located very near too the airport so ideal for a short stopover. The staff were very helpful and made to feel welcome on arrival. Having the minibus transfer also makes life easier and they were prompt when called.
There were plenty of restaurants located next to the hotel, all were mainly Thai food. There was free wifi in the hotel which was useful for checking in on the next flights. Only issue we be there is no lift, but the staff are more than willing to help.
Shopping Tip:
Taxi's are available to Bangkok and it takes around 20mins.
