Thailand always does service in the most fantastic way. And the Marriot Vista succeeded to do this brilliantly. Everyone smiled and said good morning etc even on the entrance gate. There was truly nothing negative to say about any interaction we had with staff.

I haven't visited BKK for several years, and supprised by a complete change from the revious image in entire city to become much cosmopolitan, new and fashinable just like Singapore. Same time, supprised by every cost. So is this Hotel.
Having said, in between per night with this concept and service was a real value for money. We did enjoy throughout our stay.

The staff are helpful. The 3 room executive suite is spacious. It takes 10 mins walk to the BTS Sala Daeng station which is the only demerit of the hotel but there is still lots of style small shops to be explored along the way.
Nightlife Tip:
Go to Sirocco, the skybar of the state tower. It takes 10 mins taxi from the hotel and cost 50 Baht only.

We booked 2 bed room type. Very nice decoration. They don't have single bed here. Not really near the BTS or MRT. Traffic can be bad during the rush hour.

The moment I stepped into the hotel, I have a feeling of simple but comfortable atmosphere with excellent service from the reception to the bell boy service. Yon entering the room, I saw a big living room with all the necessary accessories. You can cook anything you like there or even just to heat up food that you have bought earlier from outside. The bed is comfortable soft, toilet may not be big but has all the accessories.

Still good, but not as good as before

it’s my fourth stay at sathorn vista in 3 years and this time is a 5-day trip. i have stayed in several serviced apartments in bangkok and have to say that so far sathorn vista is still my favourite, though the room rates have increased by around 20% over 1 year. the rooms and facilities are still maintained in good conditions. service quality is still good comparing to other hotels, but i would no longer consider it excellent as before, e.g. there had been some problems with my hotel booking (due to the mistake of my travel agent) and when the staff called to my room to advise me about the issue, i asked if they could help contact my travel agent and he just told me, very coldly, that “you have to contact them by yourselves”. and eventually i have to make idd calls to my travel agent which eventually cost me around usd15, and wasted 2 hours in sorting things out. overall, sathorn vista is still a good service apartment but with the deteriorating customer service, it is not as attractive as before.
