-friendly staff -the signboard was hard to find. maybe you add neon signboard or put a bigger letter to make it easier to find my last trip at merisess sukhumvit 16 hotel was very enjoyable.for 3 nights, I only spend about 1 room + 1 extra bed.the thing I like best is the location. It only take 10 minutes to walk from hotel to BTS or MRT stasion.the staff very friendly and helpful.the breakfast was good enough for me.we get 3 kind of meal everyday.the room was big and comfy.So I very recommend this hotel to budget traveler...

friendly staff, spacious rooms, cheap price Poor water pressure and drainage, hotel undergoing construction, food Upon arrival at the Merisess I was greeted by a friendly concierge who upgraded me from a deluxe room to a suite with a with two lcds, dvd, spacious bathroom (double tub and rain shower) and small kitchenette. For the price a paid it was great, however, there were a few problems; the water pressure was low so it took about 45 minutes to fill the bath, the shower floor was uneven so the water would never fully drain and the toilet clogged, during the day they contractors were using some harsh chemicals which made the room uninhabitable for several hours for two of the three days I stayed, there were plates and glasses but no silverware, and for breakfast the food wasn't always fresh. Hopefully the staff will iron out these wrinkles and make Merisess a really great place to stay
Restaurant Tip : Foodland about 100m down the soi has good cheap food.

the break fast is ready at 10.00 am. it was so poor for me. i have to wait that long..!! there was a renovation, so the air conditioner was not works at the lobby hotel. i took a premiun room, and the premium room is perfect for the price. Unfortunatelly, the staffs are very not so good. not all of them can speaks in English. If you stay there for 3 or 4 nights, you will find the staff who cannot speak in English. the breakfast is also not so good. We have to wait until 10.00 am, if we wants to having lunch in there. Actually, the location is good, however if you have a limited time to go to some place, you better take a motorcycle than walk, it will take 10 to 15 minutes to go to near MRT Station.
Travel tip : you can take the motorcycle with nice price to go to near station ( skytrain or mrt).

Excellent location, close to BTS and surrounded by great shops and restaurants.
Hotel staff were very helpful at all times.
Excellent quality hotel. Great location, large rooms and very quiet ensuring a good night's sleep.
The reception staff were extremely helpful and offered assistance whenever required. Late check-out was very much appreciated. I would stay here again!

Nice room interior and great bathroom Restaurant not finished, very few TV channels
No parking available Still rather new boutique hotel since some parts (like restaurant area) is not yet finished. Since it's surrounded by other tall buildings most rooms have no outside view. The rooms have an excellent flat-screen TV but very view channels can be received and most of them Indian only. E.g. no international news or sport channel is available.

Clean and recently refurbished.
Quiet street.
Free and quick internet. I stayed in Merisess on 2 trips for work and will continue to go back. It is nice quiet little hotel away from the noise. Good quality massage at SPA next door and freidnly service from hotel staff. Breakfast was delivered to the room, bar fridge very cheap no need to worry about exhirbatant costs if you done feel like going to local mart.
Restaurant Tip : Dont rely on Kuppa next door for close by meals. Plenty of better priced and quality cafes along the SOI16

Good value for money and very friendly service. Even though the restaurant under construction, breakfast was still served and to the room. Internet free. Bar fridge very reasonable price. Location good, close to Asok BTS. Nothing to complain about. I found the Hotel Merisess to be very comfortable for the week I stayed. I was lucky to be upgraded to a premier suite which was very large and provided the space I would expect to receive at a 4 star rated facility. The room was clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. Getting breakfast served to room whilst hotel under construction was great! Price very reasonable and free internet, which is something rare these days. Will definitely go there again.
Restaurant Tip : Dont relay on Kuppa across the road, very much over priced. There are penty of Thai cafes along SOI16 if you dont want to head down to the main road.

big room and big bath room,free internet,very helpful and friendly staffs, wet floor after shower,door of shower room has to be fixed.Pantry but no plates,spoons,forks,etc.toilet flush not working,no coffee shop,still under construction 10 mins walk to Asoke BTS and sweating very much.3 mins to the 24 hrs Foodland.I prefer not staying there next time.

big room n nice shower room. no have facility. restaurant on the way, very far from BTX station. very nice family run hotel by Thai indian. staffs are very friendly n helpful. they'll get you anything u ask for. room is beautifully deco n roomy especially the shower room, with a big bath tub but i didn't use it because i don't like to waste water. breakfast is server to your room but it is better to order the day before if you're leaving the room early the next morning to avoid long wait.
Restaurant Tip : go n have a meal at these Italian restaurant.. there server good foods.

Staff tried to be helpful, very clean and neat. Good breakfast. I wasn't very happy with many things about my stay, mainly the things listed above. I had to wait 5 hrs to get a computer, being told it would be 1/2 an hour every hour. I left dental x-rays in the room in a large envelope that obviously had a lot of things in it clearly marked with my name and I phoned up about it within 2 hours but staff could not understand radiographic pictures, x-rays, medical pictures, medical photos or even envelope so it was hopeless. They called back the next day to say there was no camera left in the room but by then it was too late. They keep telling me there was nothing left in the room and I keep telling them there was and they promise to call back but don't. Overall I was very frustrated with the difficulty in getting things.

Rooms are large and comfortable...staff is great...breakfast is good and very generous portions.. Oddly, several things just don't work....it is almost like they just opened..rooms seem incomplete. Hotel is good location, easy walking distance to Sukumvit and BTS. Very clean and well stocked Foodland (Grocery store)with good, inexpensive cafe. Soi is nice neighborhood and quiet. Hotel is nice...staff is very friendly and try accommodate all your requests..rooms are large but seems to be a bit here and there that does not work....but noting major and if you request they will try to fix. The big room (1 bedroom) is great. 2 plasmas tv's, large bath and tub and separate shower.
Shopping Tip : Foodland is very nice grocery with cafe with good food and very cheap

Friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Acceded to our request for change of room and late checkout without hesitation. Good value for money. Hotel has not finished the renovation. Was given room that were partially completed and leaking bathroom. Some fittings were not properly designed/installed. Cable channels are very limited. The hotel is only about 0.5km from the BTS station, a short 10 mins walk. It has a small lobby but was not adequately bright and so looks quite solemn. The restaurant is not completed yet and so the place does not look inviting. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, this place comfortable enough and value for money. Otherwise, if you are looking for ambient and overall experience, then it might not be your cup of tea.
