Beautiful hotel, great service and attention to detail
Small gym for such a great hotel
I decided to try the Metropolitan after reading about it in Wallpaper Magazine. It was just amazing. From the moment the cab pulled up, until I left, I was spoiled. My room was so clean ad all of the amenities were beautiful. There was fresh fruit plate and minutes after the took me to my room, green tea was sent with Thai sweets. I ate at both restaurants and the food was amazing, fresh and delicious. Great value for money.
Hotel Feature Tip : Eat at Cyan the hotel restaurant, the food and wine specials are amazing. There is also a health food restaurant next to the Hotel's spa, it was delicious.

Location, quiet, reasonable size, price, young atmosphere feeling, great restaurant, Bathroom in the rooms
Water at the pool too hot...
The Hotel follows the minimalistic design concept, modern with some beautiful old Chinese antiques… not a typical Thai / tropical design. It’s a matter of taste but we loved it….
The team was very helpful and made our stay great. Cyan Restaurant has these days a great Australian chef who is preparing some great dishes with Spanish motives – Great! We had 4 starters for dinner with white wine – great for a couple in these hit days. A bit pricy but still worth the cost….
Sathorn is close to all touristic places without actually being located in the center – recommended!
Restaurant Tip : J Ngor Restaurant in YMCA building... great Thai / Chinese food

tha amenities were a refuge from the heat The pool the spa and the yoga classes
the city room was a bit small and the TV was very old and small
the metropolitan is a lovely welcoming hotel The service is proffesional yet very friendly.Attention to detail was what I noticed most about the Metropolitan They had thought of eveything to make the guest stay as comfortable and pleasant. The Shambhala spa area is a delightful indulgence. There is complimentary yoga- fitness classes which I attended. A swim in the pool is very relaxing way to start or finish a hectic day in BK I would certainly return next time Im in BK
Travel tip : fittness classes

Healthy/organic food options, nice pool and gym.
Rooms had little personality. Glow's interior construction makes the restaurant feel claustrophobic.
If you like minimalism, the Metropolitan is a good choice--minimalist without being too stark. Though it doesn't offer the feeling of old style opulence that many of the hotels in the region are famous for, it's also not stuffy and the clientele is young and hip. It was also very refreshing to stay somewhere with healthy, organic dining.

Breakfast is a little different is good.
A good response to the entire staff seems a little poor and tired people.
It feels better than it was for the staff. Services are exchanged daily fruit, fruit with a lot of fun.
