nice but hard to find

Finding it was difficult! At the taxi stand at Dom Mueang airport, they did not know the name of the hotel and it was NOT on the tourist maps! Luckily I know more or less where it was located. The taxi driver took us to the wrong side of the river, then fortunately I remembered the look of the building and was able to point it out to him! The staff was nice and upgraded us to a room with a beautiful river view. Water taxi across the river allowed access to the main water taxi system that gets you to the temples--- not too much hassle. There was a nice inexpensive cafe on the water adjacent to the hotel that was a great location for dinner.

Great hotel with a fantastic skybar
Skybar was great, so was the breakfast

I keep coming back to this fantastic hotel, the main reason being the fantastic skybar and the well equipped gym. The gym can even provide shoes for travelers who forgot to bring them.
Wonderful! My only issue is that the hotel does charge quite a lot for the internet.

A luxurius experience
I slept one night in this incredible skycraper on Bangkok riverbanks. I asked for a high-floor room and I was at the 16th with a stunning view.
The design of the hotel is simple and elegant, with a great use of silk and natural fibers.
Not to be missed: the complimentary boat service on Chao Praya river, the pool and the roof-topp bar.

Great place for a city break and staff first class, also a lovely place to rest up after a day in Bangkok with great outdoor area to eat and have a drink by the river.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to the Thai Pier for a Fast boat trip along the river, half the price of the same boat from the River City Pier. you get to see a part of the old city of Bangkok which you would miss otherwise.
