The Restaurants food is excellent. Good seize rooms and air-condition. Check in at the front desk was an unreal experience with staff not familiar to guests having Agoda booking. Confusion between housekeeping and frontdesk concerning cleaning of room. Unsupervised trainees in the restaurant made service very poor. Difference between the actual content in the Mini Bar and the Listed content upon arrival in the room. I have stayed at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel Bangkok many times over the last 2 years with a good experience every time.
This time the experience was so bad, that I'll change to another Hotel for the future. This once so great Hotel has changed into a 2 star Hotel where one doesn't expect good service; but cheap price. I had to arrange (nothing happened when addressing the front desk with the problems): cleaning of the room, get the content of the Mini Bar updated i.a.w the List upon arrival to the room, try to get attention from mobile texting staff in the restaurant for some service, sort out my booking at the front desk, even the booking where confirmed and everything should be straight forward. The Restaurant's food is still good, so I assume the staff in the kitchen hasn't been replaced.

the hotel should add more non-smoking floors. Also, during August 2009, the hotel is under renovation. The smell of paints goes from the higher floors down to lower levels. The floor rug (floor 10, and 6), and rugs on some room are getting muddy and old, need to change. THe hotel should have some special offer for regular customer. Also, the buffet dinner at the restaurant should have more variety. Pastry shop near the lobby was really good. Good coffee and excellent pastry and price is not too expensive. Staffs at front desk, somehow are not very friendly. The location is ok for those who know how to go around Bangkok. I do recommend my guests to stay at Miracle Grand for competitive price, cleanliness, location, and security.

Friendly and helpful staffs restaurant are too expensive Hotel rooms are clean, their staffs are friendly and helpful. Good price for quality room, variety of breakfast selections. the hotel is working on painting its rooms in August 2009. Even they painted on the top floors the smell of paint came through many floors. The carpet on the hallway for most floors needs to be changed, it is getting muddy and old. Overall, I would recommend for somebody who know how to get around Bangkok (Taxi), the hotel also offers a minibus to drop you off somewhere. It is one of the best quality hotel around the North Bangkok area with an unbeatable price.

Nice hotel with good and clean layout, adequate rooms and good service; well placed as a location but perhaps a little far from hub of Bangkok activity although transport very good and efficient I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Staff are coutious and helpful and service was first class. Amenities and facilities in the hotel were good but there was not so much in the immediate vecinity of great interests.

Spacious, very clean, food is very good with a choice of restaurants and staff are very friendly and efficient. Rooms are spacious with a good layout. Internet is very expensive at 200b for one hour when you consider just about every other hotel I have stayed in in Thailand (and there have been many) offers free internet. This is an excellent hotel and reasonably priced.Ideal if you want a day or two to recover from your travel before continuing further in Thailand.
Or a day to get yourself together before catching the long flight home. Taxi fare from airport about 300b (Only take government taxi's)
Restaurant Tip : Try them all if you can.

Closed to former domestic airport.
Not in the city - not so crowded.
Nice and clean room.
Good breakfast.
Hotel staffs should be more friendly and helpful. I like this hotel and it's become one of my favorite place to stay when i travel to Bangkok. It's not only its reasonable price but also their nice and clean rooms. Breakfast that normally included in room price's mostly good--fresh and good quality. And, it's quiet as it's not located in the city.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff are very nice, polite and helpful Too close to the railway and don meung airport The hotel is nice and clean. The staff are very nice, polite and helpful though I'm a bit disappointed that their English is a bit struggling. The hotel is a tad bit far from centre and too close to the old airp[ort (Don Meung) and a rail station. So you will hear a train and a plane every 30 minus. Though after a while you will be immuned to the noise ;)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : if you wnat to go to BTS (Sky Train ) Station make sure the dorrman and the taxi driver know that you mean Mo Chit the BTS station not Mo Chit the Bus Depot

Check in is a bit slow. Need a taxi to go from place to place. Even I checked in a bit late on the night, font staff was very kind to help everything out. Breakfast is improve compare to last time I stayed.
Staff at executive louge were very friendly even it's crowned.

This is a very beautiful looking hotel with very friendly and helpful staff - The rooms are a good size with large beds and bathrooms - The TV in the bathroom is a nice touch - The hotel is reasonably close to shopping locations such as the IT Mall, Zeer Plaza and Future Park, all worth a look About 600 to 700 Baht taxi ride from the new international airport so it is out a bit, located not far from the old Don Muang Airport If you want to be a little out from the main part of Bangkok (which is normally either Siam or Sukhumvit depending on your tastes) this would be a great hotel to choose, you will not be dissappointed
Shopping Tip : Future Park, Rangsit is worth a look, you can find everything from cheap movies and cinema's to a variety of shops and eateries

I have stayed at this hotel many times and find iy spacious and beautiful rooms and furnished with everything could desire. Even a television in bathroom. Very nice work statio with internet access. Breakfast has many selections fro english, thai, Korean, Japanese and many varieties to choose from. The price is competitive for its luxurious accomadations. Only negative for me is the location, 1 km from Don Mueang airport. But is worth the taxi fare to bts to stay here. Sometimes can get great price from various promotional websites

Great selection for breakfast, roomy and comfort rooms and great city view from shower Quite far from City center. Room seems bit old Hotel is located nearby from Dom Muang airport, and can be easily understood by taxi driver for a direction. As I mentioned in the pros, the city view from the bath tub is great. However, there are highway and railroad across from the street. So, it may be quite noisy depending on the room position. I also enjoyed the breakfast selection. I really loved it very much.

big hotel, quite, nice room, good breakfast, large swimming pool, friendly staff. it was our second stay in this hotel, wich means we like it. Most of the guests aren't tourists but people who come to a convention. So in the bathroom you find everything, even a toothbrush and paste and a razor. Other special feature is a TV in the bathroom...
We stay there because it is close to family living in Bangkok, otherwise I would choose another location to stay. It is close to the old airport ! Classical hotel building, broad corridors, big stairways, thick carpet...

Swimming pool, exercise room, excellent service. I stayed there 2 weeks on vacation. I booked online and had never seen the place for myself. I will stay there everytime I visit Thailand now. Absolutely perfect. Breakfast buffet was done very tastefully. The best part was you were always greeted with a smile. I loved it and you will too.
Travel tip : Right near IT Square and The Mall Ngam Won Wgan. Bring your swim trunks.
