-Nice view of the river -All staff should be able to communicate in English. We were checking out and wanted to purchase something from the room, we encountered staff who didn't really understand what we wanted. The hotel staff and the rooms are great. We received mush welcome when we were there and had a pleasant stay. Food at the cafe was wonderful and if you are looking for good breakfast, go no further. The cafe offered over 100 choices of international food.
Hotel Feature Tip : There's a band every night at the hotel's cafe and there's a free shuttle from and to Montien Bangkok, near Patpong.

Good view of the river. Free shuttle bus to town. Old furnishing in the room. Poor shower. far from anywhere ! Poor breakfast. This is the 2nd time I stayed here after a break of 7 years and I realised why I stayed away for so long ! Its an old hotel that need upgrading. Its inconvenience to go anywhere though they provide hourly shuttlebus to the city, bts and return. But the hassle of 30 minutes ride each way is too much. Internet service is so expensive at Baht 200 for 30 minutes or Baht600 per 24 hours. Breakfast is not good with very little choices. Overall for the amount I paid, I am better off staying in better hotel within the city.
Hotel Feature Tip : Nice & romantic to share an after-dinner drink out by the river (if its not too warm!)

Great view from the room over the river.
Very special performance. Clean rooms high quality.
Nice, good looking but but anonymous staff.
Cosy lounge with live music is the best we experienced. Nothing to do around the hotel. Hard matrasses (sour backs)
In spite of the style and appearance og the hotel and staff the location might be a defecit when we next time choose a hotel in Bangkok.
