If you want to enjoy a peaceful holiday, Montein Riverside Hotel is the one you want. Good view and good facilities for those who want to stay at the hotel to take a rest. Children swimming pool there provide a good place for kid to enjoy swimming there.

Among all the riverside hotel, Montein is the one with reasonable price and good view. The hotel provide shuttle bus from hotel to Montein Bangkok hotel and they can also drive us to the nearest skytrain station.

Far from the centre of Bangkok and we need to take taxi to return to the hotel.

• Shopping Tip : A big factory outlet is situated opposite to the hotel. Just walk a few minute can arrive.

Good facilities if you love to stay at the hotel for relaxation. We enjoy the swimming pool and the fitness centre. The breakfast is delicious and I enjoy all kinds of food. The staff providing transporation at the entrance are helpful who help to arrange transport from hotel to our destination. They also advise us the best ways to area we want to go.

Far remote from the centre of Bangkok. We have to take taxi from the hotel to the destination but the taxi driver always asked for high taxi fare.

• Restaurant Tip : Baan Klang Nam - a good seafood restaurant, cheap, delicious and good view near the riverside. About 50m away from the hotel, we can walk from the hotel to the restaurant. After the dinner, we walked to the opposit side and shopped at the Home Pro shopping centre where some factory outlets are there.

Even the hotel is far from the centre of Bangkok, the shuttle bus can take us to the nearest skytrain and Montien Bangkok hotel and provide another convenience means. I am impressed by the helpfulness of the staffs esp. the person who arranged the shuttle bus who help to take us to the place we want to go.

This is the second time I reside to this hotel. I like the swimming pool most and the breakfast is delicious.

The breakfast for kid is much expensive.

• Shopping Tip : A shopping mall namely Homepro is just opposited Montien and where you can find a 24 hours opened supermarket and an underwear shops.

Too far from the airport/city center Guest Rating: 3.2

Cabs are cheap - but a 40 minute cab ride to airport; 15-20 minute cab ride to shopping/action/sights such as the Royal Palace or downtown Bangkok is a pain. We booked the deluxe room. It had a BEAUTIFUL view of the river and bridge. And being Asia - within 5 years - who knows - the industrial park with shipping containers where the hotel is located on the water may turn into a beautiful, bustling, tourist area.

-too far from anything. No restaurants other than the hotel ones - so eating is expensive.

• Hotel Feature Tip : -ask to take the free shuttle to the sister hotel in downtown bangkok (20 minute ride). It's a nice, safe, air conditioned, reliable mini-van.

We were astonished with the enviroment and the people. Very hard working people. Always ready to help you with a smile.

Taxis to downtown not a problem. About 20 mins/100 baht. Make sure the doorman agrees the drivers knowledge of the destination.

The hotel had free service to transfer to the Montien Hotel located near from the skytrain stop. The hotel is really nice, and quiet. There are not too many places to go out by night.

Rating - Good Guest Rating: 3.0

Taxi with meter will be cheaper compare to Tuk tuk. So, need to negotiate price before taking the transportation.

Nice hotel but far from the center Guest Rating: 4.0

It was a good qulaity hotel that was at a reasonal price. However, it was outside the main city.
