Very close to a subway station that is centrally located to major shopping areas (platinum/central world/siam)

Because the hotel is located close to a subway station that is centrally located to the major shopping areas, public transportation was always the option for us when we did not feel like bargaining with taxi drivers about fees and using the meter.
Also, although the area around the hotel was always jammed, public transportation was convenient and clean that there were no problems travelling on our own. Travelling by taxi to main shopping areas are also very affordable.
Hotel staff were friendly and asking for help/directions were usually not a problem (acceptable level of english).
Rooms are creatively named different shades of colours.
Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Although the toilets could use a division between bathe and sink area and a ledge to place your toiletries. Hotel area is quiet at night, away from the bustle of the main shopping areas. There is also foot massage conveniently located on the lobby floor. Breakfast selection is limited though.
But overall, definitely value for money and I will go back and recommend to friends looking for an affordable but comfortable stay.

• The baggage handling was as good as it gets with the baggage taken to main street Taxi traffic area and hailed, and loaded for great service.
• The front desk personnel pleasant and room color accent clever portrayed at desk area.
• Tour service available.
• Shower volume and pressure good.
• Bath ammonites provided
Room & Restaurant not so good
• Air conditioning below average not cool, uncomfortable night
• Bed provided average comfort
• Hall light provided bright all night room light from under door
• Mirror could only be viewed by sitting down at vanity
• View outside the window was high electric wires
• Room and bath very small and shower separated only by curtain
• Decor limited red highlight, but dark gray room main room color
• Restaurant average buffet , but had brewed coffee
Overall cannot recommend hotel for value and price, better choices in this price range.
