What did you expect for 50 bucks, you get what you pay for and this hotel represents very good value for money . Its currently being upgraded (the hotel is tired). Everything you need for a good nights sleep is available and the swimming pool, whilst also looking tired, is the perfect tonic for a day in Bangkok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do not use the hotels taxi service, they charge up to 3 x the price and seem to prey on first timers in Bangkok using scare tactics to get jobs. Use as meter taxi from in front of the hotel, make sure he turns the meter on and you will pay very little.

Good room, quite, ideal location for business in Silom, nice small gym, good breakfast.
I do business in the Silom area and this hotel is in an ideal location. The room was clean, quite, the hotel was ideal for business and i would also say for holiday travellers.
All in all a good hotel for the price
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to the sky train, just a good location

First of all I like the area around Silom Road. And Narai is a comfortable Hotel directly on Silom. Rooms are clean and housekeeping staff very friendly.
Not much to complain, just there were no sidelamps next to the bed, only very bright ceiling lights. For reading not nice. But it was no problem to request a bedside lamp.
Bathrooms a bit small.
Narai Hotel is a nice comfortable nice priced Hotel in my favourite Aerea Silom Road. Silom Village for good Thai food only 5 min. away. And Patpong Nightmarket also easy to reach.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is also a very good Italian Restaurant in the Hotel called Peperoni.
The breakfast buffet has everything we need to enjoy our first meal of the day. Only the breakfast aerea is not very pleasant. It could be more nicely decorated.
Overall I enjoyed my stay there, already a second time and for sure want to come back next time when I am in Bangkok, as it is reasonable priced for the comfort. As in Bangkok I do not stay much in the Hotel, it is perfectly sufficient.
