it was so nice to be in the center of silom road and be able to walk to the little market around the corner, the ski train and the evening market.

Great hotel
Gym, Pool, good location, great breakfast
8.3
It's a bit old, with old TV, otherwise it's a pretty good hotel. Staff were nice and breakfast was very good. Only thing I got to complain are the annoying taxi drivers outside the hotels. They keep haggling you to join their tours, or take you to their bars, restaurants and night clubs. I'll advise people who stay at this hotel NOT to take their offer, as they are over priced and they get commission to anywhere they take you. Just walk up the street and find other taxi drivers.

Great hotel in great location
Clean and modern rooms, nice bathroom, staff friendly, excellent breakfast
8.3
Great hotel. We initially only booked two nights but extended that by another six. The hotel is in a great location if you are keen on shopping, nightlife, and eateries. The room we stayed in was a standard room but it met our expectations. It had the usual mod-cons like a/c, TV, phone and mini-fridge. staff were great too. Most were very friendly and accommodating. My only advice to first-time Bangkok tourists is to get some advice first on getting a taxi. 99% of taxi drivers are honest and helpful. Unfortunately the other 1% tend to hang around the front of hotels and try to get foreigners to ride in their taxi for a fixed price. Never agree to a fixed price - always insist on using the meter.

Value for money
Price, breakfast, service and location in Silom
7.7
The hotel was good value for money. I stayed at the Prince Palace Hotel which is a very big hotel, but it was dead, everytime you went to their bars etc, there was hardly anyone there. Whereas the Narai, hotel had atmosphere. The small bar had entertainment, and the prices were reasonable. The breakfast was good and the service people were very good. I would not hesitate to recommend the Narai hotel in Silom as a place to stay. its only a 10 minute walk to the Chong Nonsi BTS, which is easy to locate, and you probably need that small bit of exercise after the nice breakfast they provide.
Good place to stay
Restaurant Tip:
The food from the hotel restuarant is very tasty and reasonably priced. They also have a pizza oven on the premises if you like pizza's at a very good price compared to Pizza hut.

Very nice hotel friendly staff
rooms a good size, they upgraded us each time we stayed, free newspaper and internet. Great breakfast.
8.7
For the price it was great value. We paid for a standard room and were upgraded each time to a superior or deluxe,(just ask for this) the last time to the 12th floor. We used this hotel as our base leaving a suitcase with them each time. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We where within walking distance to Phat Pong market, skytrain and river taxi. The breakfast has a great selection of food. The hotel room doors are noisy when being closed they need rubber door stops to be installed. We found this to be a problem at each hotel we stayed in.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not book cars, taxis or busses from the hotel you will find them very expensive. There is a travel agent just down the street at a 3rd of the cost. The swimming pool is a little run down but they seemed to be improving this before we left.

I stayed in Narai for many visits already and has been my favorite hotel in Bangkok. The breakfast is good, room is generally good and their italian restaurant is fantastic. Having overly strong air conditioning seems to be a feature for many rooms. Other than that, I have no complains.
