We had nice time in Bangkok but the room was noisy, even at night due to nearer works, and when we where far away from the hotel and we took a taxi to drive us there it was difficult for the man to find the hotel, I think they can improve the card giving also the name in Thai and writing it there to help people to arrive there.

With deal with staff

They can improve the information on the nearest streets, it is little difficult to find the hotel

We had a nice stay in New World because the rooms where big and clean, and we pleased also the deal with the staff. But next to the hotel there is a big hole where it seems that there will construct a new building. In that place which is just under our window, there where people working during the night, so we had big noise and it was difficult to sleep. We had to protect our ears to be able to sleep there.

It was clean, staff where helpful

The room was very noisy, there where works next to the hotel, they don't stop at night.

Good value, no nonsense hotel Guest Rating: 3.5

I think this hotel is worth to try, near to local attraction and the temple. I have once passed the alley way near the hotel. it is a traditional market, so If you looking for authentic area that represented bangkok. Near to khao san road too, But no Skytrain access. the only transportation is by taxi or tuk tuk.The tour desk staff in hotel is very helpful.I will definitely stay in there again next time.

Closed to banglamphu market is the advantage of this hotel... it's very near and you can walk to the grand palace and the other temple ( I don't know it's name). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A little noisy because the contruction... but lucky they didn't work until night.

We booked a double room, the room was very large compared to other hotel rooms we have stayed at. We liked the fact there was an in-room safe, as well as television. In our room there was a used pair of sandals at the foot of the entrance to the bathroom! Another odd thing in our room as well was that there was a scale, which I haven't really seen in a room before. The breakfast wasn't too great, although had the regular stuff: eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, some hot food like noodles, rice, and some fruit. Near to Khaosan road, but takes about 7-10 minutes walking.

Within walking distance to Khaosan Road, Grand Palace, Wat Pho, free breakfast.

Breakfast food wasn't that great, some ants crawling around on the bathroom sink.

  • Hotel Feature Tip : There's laundry just a block away for 30 baht/1kg.

Had to leave at 5.30am for the airport, but breakfast doesnt start until 6.30am. 10 minute walk to Koh San Road. There's an internet cafe across the road which is much cheaper than the hotel internet cafe.

Good hotel for backpackers and solo travellers as its cheap but families may want to consider somewhere else.

  • Travel tip : Use the internet place across the hotel as its much cheaper.
