close to Paragon, siam etc and next to skytrain great pool
smelly rooms needing deodourising. breakfast not included
loved this hotel as it was so close to the shopping and skytrain and the rooms were rather larger than most. breakfast was good but not included in the price. the pool area was great to take a break from all the shopping. the sky train takes you to the weekend markets at chatuchat. i would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located for both Chinatown, Patpong, Royal palace, in middle of shopping district
Has all facilities you might expect from Novotel, including fair sized pool. Fine, big room.
Bangkok is big, and if you want to be close to one spot, you are far away from another. Novotel Siam square is more or less in the centre, although you need a taxi to get to all other places. Clean room, good pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Not only a good choice if you are a business traveller.
Travel tip : Aquarium Siam Paragon

Nice & clean lobby with 24/7 services.
Toilets need to be improved & repaired.
Also, money exchange rates from hotel seems to be low.
I was amazed to send me a Birthday cake at my room. I must appreciate it. I recall the old saying, "Courtesy costs nothing, but brings everything." The security systems was nice too. I think, they could offer at least one complementary breakfast to customers. Above all, I enjoyed a lot. My only comments to improve services, is communications of employees. Visitors would be more compfortable in English. I will try my next visit there probably this year.
Shopping Tip : Best shopping malls are across the road.

Fantastic customer service. Any problems we had were taken care of by staff. Plus clean linens & towels.
Pricey breakfast buffet (but huge selection and kids were free).
We booked hotel because of the pool, but it was closed for New Years Celebration with out prior notice. (They did make arrangements for us to swim at their sister hotel - Sofitel on Silom, which was fantastic!)
Centrally located. Skytrain is just 1 block away. Malls just outside. Cab drivers know the hotel and they are always available just outside to take you where you want to go.
Hotel service was excellent. Friendly staff were always available to assist. Room service was a decent price (breakfast menu was cheaper than the hotel buffet)
Hotel bar in the lower level has free pool, a football and air hockey table, pizza, and children are welcome until 10:00 with parents.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Central Chitlom department store is only 1 Skytrain stop away and it has a large play area on the 6th floor. Food Hall was great for our family on the 7th floor as well.

Elevatator took time to come
Overall my stay was OK, and I liked the bread at the ground floor shop. However the problem was shower. When I took a shower hot water was coming by very weak.If this issue is solved this hotel stay is very pleasant.

Very clean hotel, great location & secured too. A nice view of the Bangkok city for New Year's Eve.
The small shower bath tub always make the floor wet. very disappointing,
Great location for shopping day & night. Convenient to grab a taxi & 'tut tut', always waiting outside the hotel. Very nice Thai traditional massage just outside the hotel. The Paragon shopping complex is just next door, lots of shopping & yummy foods around. The only weakness is the small shower bath tub, make the toilet floor always wet. Internet are not free, too bad.
Nightlife Tip : Few great Thai traditional massage just outside the hotel.

they closed the swimming pool for the day i was there and i was not informed, i would have booked somewhere else to enjoy the water.
we stayed for a night and it was really relaxing, the service was great, the staff really smily and helpful, we had the asian buffet and that was a feast, everything was delicious and fresh.I wish i could have enjoyed the swimming pool but it was closed, to prepare theparty for new year, so i went into the gym instead, very clean and very nice equipment, so i'm realy satisfied of my stay.
Shopping Tip : yoga centre close by, excellent yoga class

Great location, close to Siam where all the action is.
Parking.
Economical.
Building looks kinda old.
Traffic can be bad in the area.
Last time I came to Bangkok, I ended up spending lots of my time in places like MBK, Central World, Siam Square. That is why this time I choose this hotel because it is exactly so close to all these places. The hotel is good but not spectacular, but whatever it lacks, the locations makes up for it.

Great location. Amazing service.
pool was closed for New Years and bathrooms need repair - cracked bathtub surround, .
Novotel is in the best location for shopping and the big entertainment attractions. All of the cab drivers know exactly where it is, so no risk of getting lost. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, but a bit expensive (500 baht)
Rooms were an alright size and all seemed to have a good view of the city. Bed is comfortable and linens were fresh and clean.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Gourmet Market in Siam Paragon has huge selection of thai foods and snacks for the kids.

amazing location, good buffet breakfast, helpful staff, clean rooms
avoid the internet as price is too high
amazing location in siam square. 2min walk to skytrain, which can give easy access to chatuchak market. best shopping centres a short walk away. hotel limousine service is expensive and you may as well get a good taxi for quarter price. taxis are readily available. staff were friendly, and helpful when you want advice on getting to different places. hotel massage was good and professional. bakery in hotel had fantastic food and sweets.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : take the skytrain to get to MBK. the food court there is fantastic and clean.

Very close to the main shopping hub of Siam. Close to BTS Skytrain station. Great hospitality and warm greetings.
Bathroom design is very poor and the breakfast at The Square was not very good.
A very convenient hotel close to main shopping areas such as Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery and MBK. The hotel is also very close to the BTS Sky train station which was great going to other shopping places such as Emporium and the Chatuchak weekend market. There are also many street stalls nearby that area and in the evenings, many small stalls on the National Stadium BTS Skytrain crossing to get cheap T-Shirts, belts, souvenirs etc. The room was very neat and tidy but the design of the bathroom was not very good! The breakfast buffet could be better and have been better in other hotels in which we have stayed previously. The staff were very nice and helpful in the business centre and the concierge were also very willing to help and assist.
Nightlife Tip : The bar and disco on the basement of the hotel is very good for a few drinks and a bit of entertainment.

Very good situated. Nice people. Hotel as general very clean.
It is always nice to be in the middle of Bangkok in a hotel with nice people, good SPA with good massage, manicure and pedicure. Breakfast is very good and rich. Front desk good at listening. Porters effective and nice and helpful with getting taxi and helping with luggage. it will be a pleasure to check in next time we are in Bangkok.

Location. reasonable priced.
our room was a bit small for three.
Perfectly located just across the road from the Siam center. The skytrain station was just outside the hotel's front door. The staff were very pleasant. They provided a roll away bed for our daughter at no extra charge.
One minor irritation - an inquiry call to doctor was made by the front desk and was charged to our room. After some discussion, the charge was dropped. Overall, for a short stay in 3 star hotel, we will return.
