Location - perfect if you're a shopoholic
Comfy beds Asked for a non smoking room but while they room may have been non smoking the whole floor definitely wasn't so the smell lingered with us for a few days... Nothing too outstanding about this hotel...perfect for a one night stay before heading to the islands...especially if you want to get in a bit of shopping...MBK center is very close by and they have a nice little patisserie attached to the hotel which was a bonus as we didn't want to do the whole buffet breakfast and I couldn't face another noodle soup at 9am!
Shopping Tip : MBK shopping center for some good handbags!

Internet is free in room. Breakfast should be included in package. First time we stay in Novotel on siam sq though we have visited Bangkok quite a few times.The hotel is situated at walking distance to the main 1-shopping MBK for the medium buyers and SIAM Paragon for those looking for branded items 2-Transport sky train-Taxi-Tuk-Tuk.We will certainly stay at Novotel on our next stay to Bangkok.
Restaurant Tip : You have two Thai restaurants within the doorstep of the hotel.Please try the SIT-IN Thai restaurant for diner with a live band.

clean rooms, very friendly, helpful staff, close to ATM, exchanges, street shopping, Metri, subway (MRT) and upscale shopping and food courts. WiFi in your room. My wife and I stayed at the Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square for 3 nights. We found it to be clean, nicely appointed with friendly, helpful staff. Their dinning facilities were fantastic with a broad spectrum of food types. With free high speed WiFi in each room it made communicating home a breeze. I found ATM and money exchange machines just across the street. Within blocks of the hotel were many shopping, restaurant, and massage facilities. A real plus was the close proximity of Metro train, and subway (MRT) transportation facilities, as well as the hotel's limo fleet. All staff spoke some english. Very safe, comforting facility.
Restaurant Tip : Be sure to ask about the food court in the Paragon shopping center.

clean, middle of major malls, close to sky train station its not a good way to travel any where by taxi as you will stuck in traffic jam Excellent hotel service and furniture. with all ficilities guest would like to swiming pool, gym. Hotel location is perfect for shopers and people like to be in middle of the city but need to utilize sky train system for all of your journey or you will be stuck in traffic jam.
Price reasonable of such kind of hotel.
I like to soap and shampo type they provide it has good smell, waqter pressure in shower not what i really like but understandble ( to save water)
wireless internet free in your room.
Hotel Feature Tip : The only advice is to use sky train and try your best to avoid using taxies.

near many shops. service and facilities are good it's very excited when I just take a short walk to go shopping in paragon siam, siam center, siam discovery and mbk even under slightly rain. facilities is marvelous. I wish I could buy the same kind of bathing gel in the room as it's smell is attractive, relaxed with aroma. service and staff is cool, very friendevery day after sleep I receive a flower. still expensive and never hv special remarkable promotion

Good in room broadband connectivity Traffic in and around hotel is horrendous. Very pleasant stay. The sandwiches at the deli located on lobby floor are perfect and the assistant manager is very helpful that I would recommend a promotion for her.
Hotel Feature Tip : Use the Skytrain that is short walk away to get around areas served by BTS.

close to shopping, nice exercise room and the folks who run it are great. Also, the people cleaning the rooms were a joy, too bad the rest of the staff was so cold.
There was a very good massage business across the street, Leks? Very professional and healthy. generally lack of that special THAI smile that we were used to. English was a problem generally except at the gym. We both did not like the location outside of the shopping. The taxi drivers hanging outside the hotel were annoying to say the least. They drove us nuts and we walked blocks to avoid them. The pool water was filthy and the noise from construction next door was unbelievably loud. People were planning their time out doors between noon and 1pm to try to find quiet time. We paid nearly twice what we normally do but thought it might be worth it being close to Siam Square. After walking around the hotel and the coldness of the staff (lack of English may be the issue) we immediately regretted committing to a week stay. If we could have loaded up our bags and got out of there we would have in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, we paid for the week and were stuck. We made due and try to make the best out of it but next time we'll check out the hotels before committing to a lengthy stay.
In general the hotel looks like it will work but there is something missing and it has to do with feeling welcome. Lack of genuine warmth...

Good quality, location, night club free for guests. This was a very good quality Hotel. Location Siam Sqaure, lots of little shops and inexpensive restuarants. I ate mainly out side as I like to go for meal out rather than in the Hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They are also guest friendly and do not charge for inviting guest. There is a nice bar in the lounge area and also live music, very relaxing and enjoable. This hotel has all the entertainment within. Highly recommend it to all. Rooms are good high quality also, with everything you need, a safe etc.
Nightlife Tip : Has its own Night Club and is free to guests.

It is near the shopping center
Convenient access to internet
a swimming pool It is a very good hotel, which has very easy access to BTS train, and is near Siam Center, Siam Paragon and Siam Discovery.
Unfortunately i did not have time to swim, which seems so attractive.
The breakfast is also very good.
What impressed me most is the consultancy provided by the hotel, which is very helpful.

In need of refurbishment Very disappointed with this supposedly high end hotel, rooms are dated and at best average with very poor selection of TV channels, movies are pay per view.
Parking facility is based within a controlled access area and due to error with hotel reception took 45mins to get out of this area.
Food and drinks are extortionate prices (gin and tonic 8USD)
Travel tip : Holiday Inn is just down the road, better prices and much better rooms

The location is perfect- across the street from several large malls, steps away from the Skytrain station. price of calls from room phones - 1250bht for 10 minute call to UK. Definitely recommend this one. Really nice room and very central to shopping, restaurants, night markets and rail.

Great location near the Siam station and Siam Square (and many shopping complexes); silent, spacious, and clean room; efficient service Taxis are not pooled at the hotel so it takes some time to have a taxi; heavy traffic in the area (but the hotel is close to the station so you can take a train) We stayed at this hotel because it was in the most convenient location and the hotel brand was reliable. We were right in this. The hotel was located next to the Siam Square and had several shopping complexes and the Siam station nearby. Although the area got heavy traffic jam especially during the rush hours, the train station was 5 min walk so we did not have much problem with the traffic as well. The room was clean and spacious. It was to our surprise that the room was perfectly silent despite hectic streets outside the hotel. The service of the hotel staff was also very kind and efficient and we could not find any problem with them. One shortcoming was that it took some time (5-10 min) to get a taxi at the hotel as the hotel was not pooling taxis at the hotel (probably due to the lack of space in the area). If you need a taxi immediately, then it would be advisable to call the reception in advance. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back to this hotel.

Great location close to all major shopping centers as well as hundreds of little kitsch shops around..
Also in hotel bakery which is great for quick snacks Hotel has a nightclub which can be heard from your hotel room. Very noisy. Hotel in great location. Seems average as in hotel furnishing etc, could do with an update. The in room safe needs to be bolted or nailed down, as someone could break in and just take it. We only stayed 1 night, but the hotel was really great with giving us a super late check out time. Honestly we were not there much as in the room , spent the time out in the shops. The
