Convenient location, for layover

I`ve stayed here 2 times , it is right across the street from the airport and when you have an early flight (which I had both times). It is a major bonus , taxi rides from BKK center or metro BKK take a long time. I try to squeeze in as much sleep as i can before a 27 hour journey home.

Practical spot for late arrival and early departur

The hotel is about five minutes from the airport terminal; with a well-located shuttle bus you can be horizontal within 30 minutes. The room was simply designed and well appointed; bathroom amenities varied between the two rooms we booked and we weren't quite sure why. The hotel is vast so if you are with children or other travel companions, see if you can get rooms which are located nearby. Restaurant was fine for a late snack [food was tasty] but service slow so we opted out of the morning breakfast for an airport snack pre-flight.
Hotel Feature Tip:
No need to formally check out if you've prepaid through Agoda and did not use the minibar or charge anything to your room.

All in all this is a great hotel, I loved everything about the Novatel. The Staff were very professional, warm and helpful. The rooms are impeccable and the food at the restaurant was very delightful. At check-out there was a problem with the Credit Card reader, but that was not the fault of the hotel. It was just too early and the Thai card system does not wake up that early.

My wife, 4 month old son and I were travelling to Udon Thani to introduce our son to his grandparents. We got in to Bangkok around 11:00 after a travelling for the day and our next flight was not until the next day. We decided to stay at the Novitel because it was inside the airport. It was a short 5 minute Van shuttle ride. The Receptionists were very friendly. Hotel did not seem very busy. Room was clean and nice. Was supposed to be an upgrade to an Executive Suite. Breakfast was pretty good, but small portion which is normal for Thailand I think. The french toast was not that good, but the organge juice was very good. The pool look good, but did not have time to check it out. It was a great place to stay for continuing on our trip after a long day of flying. A lot better than sleeping at the airport.

This is our second stay in Novotel, as we had to spend a night in Bangkok before catching an early morning flight the next day. It's 5 min ride to the airport with the hotel shuttle bus.
Beautiful hotel and good value for money. The pool is very nice.
Worth staying here if you need a stopover in Bangkok. But it's 45 mins away from downtown BKK so not a good location if you want to explore the city.

Great for overnight before early morning flight!

Overall, hotel was a great location. I was looking for a hotel close to the airport in Bangkok as I had an early morning flight. The hotel is a beautiful hotel adjacent to the airport. Nice rooms, beautiful lobby, good food and spa services. A bit far from the centre if you wanted an extended stay.
