Fantastic, luxury stay before long flight

We were only there for one evening in order to catch a very early flight out of Bangkok. The room was luxury as was the swimming pool. The hotel itself was magnificent, clean and had many amenities including the free airport shuttle running every 10 minutes 24/7. Perfect end to a lovely holiday & no rushing to make the airport on time.

We arrived at the hotel to stay prior to our early flight home. The staff were efficient and we were allocated inter connecting rooms. The rooms were enormous and we had a view of the pool from the window. The bathrooms were lovely too. We had the buffet in the main restaurant, which was varied and delicious. We also ordered a bottle of wine which we thought quite cheap for Thailand at 560 THB. Overall a very good hotel.

great location - better service

My last stay at this hotel was nto so great. The tunnel to the airport does not allow carts. the bus was not available and no one knew where it was (both thai and english language). We found a way to get through the cart park bt abter getting within 50 meters of the hotel, we were told we could not take the carts. Sow we lugged four large bags, in hot humid weather to the hotel.
because I emailed them in advance we had goood service with an agent waiting at the arrivals hall. Lines to check in still long
Restaurant Tip:
Eat before you go - prices are 4X - 5X normal prices - higher than marriott or four Seasns

Very good hotel for incoming or out going flights.Clean very quiet. They have 24 hour check out so if you get in at 6pm you can check out at say 8pm next day if you got a evening flight etc. That was great for us.
Shopping Tip:
Use the bts metro to get into town. Its clean safe and very fast. There's a 7/seven across the rd from the hotel towards the airport.

This well located hotel is very convenient for an overnight stay. The rooms are well appointed and room service was perfect for breakfast. The underground walkway from the airport is easy or there is a 24 hour bus transfer service available for all hotel guests.

Not worth the price

although we requested a non-smoking floor, as soon as we got out of the elevator we were overwhelmed by the smell of stale cigarettes. our ac made a very loud noise that was hard to sleep through. old fashioned tv set with very limited channels. this hotel is in major need of some renovations. they have become very lazy, probably because they have the monopoly on airport hotels in bangkok.
Shopping Tip:
Would be best to drive for 30 minutes to Sukhumvit area and stay in a hotel there (ie. President Solitaire). There is more to do in that area in terms of shopping and nightlife.
