Good position in Sukhumvit for visiting the night life and also for shopping Rooms are becoming a little dated, n o seperate shower room Enjoyed my stay at the Novotel Lotus. Staff were very friendly and efficient and willing to help. Very nice service from the ground floor lounge and attractive waitresses to serve you drinks at your table. Consider the bathrooms are a little second rate and would appreciate a seperate shower cubic le instead of standing in a bath, which I consider dangerous. Otherwise, a very good hotel and reasonable rates

Hygiene, spacious rooms, good room service May be food can improve a little more. Though it was better than what we had last time. Our stay at Novotel was overall quite pleasureable. Right from hospitable staff greeting us at the reception, the bell boys, ambience, air conditioning, food, hygiene value, quality of rooms, cleanliness, there wasn't a single let down factor. The hotel is located quite nicely at the Sukhumvit road which gives options to just walk out casually to any of the joints in near vicinity and come back to room within no time. We would like to stay again in Novotel Lotus when we come to Bangkok. Keep it up!
Nightlife Tip : Excellent, all nightlife is just around the corner. So one can casually walk out and come back to hotel within minutes if required.

- Emporium Department Store that is famous with Farang visitors is only 5minutes walk away and is filled with floors of high-end clothing -both Thai and Imported- restaurants, movie theatre, bowling, and a gourmet grocery store which imports all of the world most delicious delicacies and tastes of home.
- Sukhumvit around the Soi 33 area is probably one of the best places in the city to stay. Surrounded by everything everyone comes to Bangkok to enjoy: wonderful restaurants (LeDalat, Rang Mahal, Kumon, Bacchus), fun international clientele pubs (Londoner, Robinhood, Bulls Head, Dubliner), Shopping (Villa Grocery, Emporium, street vendors), Massage (Lavander, Dai Chi) taxis, motorcycle taxis, BTS are all at your doorstep as well as open markets, cafes, night spots and the park.
- Benjasiri Park: is definately worth a trip to. Not only is it nice to view from your hotel room, the park is an enchanting oasis to stroll in: birds, ponds, boats, cafes, thaichi, playground equiment, cyclists, and outdoor theater.
- Mambo Cabaret showcases some of the most talented transvestites in the world.
- Prom Pong BTS Skytrain station is just a 3minute walk away.
