Good position in Sukhumvit for visiting the night life and also for shopping

Rooms are becoming a little dated, n o seperate shower room

Enjoyed my stay at the Novotel Lotus. Staff were very friendly and efficient and willing to help. Very nice service from the ground floor lounge and attractive waitresses to serve you drinks at your table. Consider the bathrooms are a little second rate and would appreciate a seperate shower cubic le instead of standing in a bath, which I consider dangerous. Otherwise, a very good hotel and reasonable rates

Nightlife Tip : A good selection of Bars close by to the hotel

Hygiene, spacious rooms, good room service

May be food can improve a little more. Though it was better than what we had last time.

Our stay at Novotel was overall quite pleasureable. Right from hospitable staff greeting us at the reception, the bell boys, ambience, air conditioning, food, hygiene value, quality of rooms, cleanliness, there wasn't a single let down factor. The hotel is located quite nicely at the Sukhumvit road which gives options to just walk out casually to any of the joints in near vicinity and come back to room within no time. We would like to stay again in Novotel Lotus when we come to Bangkok. Keep it up!

Nightlife Tip : Excellent, all nightlife is just around the corner. So one can casually walk out and come back to hotel within minutes if required.

I recomend staying at the Novotel Lotus the location is ideal. There are different types of restaurants and bars with girls and without nearby. Shopping is close by and if you want too walk down the steet you have all the street stalls or you can hop on the sky train and go 2 stops. The sky train is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff are very friendly and they will only be too happy to help ypou in any way they can.

Nice location. Good value hotel. Attentive staff. Very comfortable bed.

Starting to show age.

The hotel is located near Skytrain station and Emporium mall. Lots of shopping, dining and nightlife options in the area. Great value at current room rates. Very comfortable bed and good amenities. Attentive and friendly staff.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Asia Herb Association massage shops on Soi 24 and Soi 31 are excellent for jetlag treatment.

Easy access (close to BTS) and good location (close to Emporium and other amenities.) Spacious room.

Dark staircase, a bit old. Expensive internet access.

The check in process is fast and reliable. Staffs are friendly. The concierge was very helpful as well as I bought some frozen food and was having storage difficulty. The concierge offered it to be stored at their freezer without me requesting for it. this is something commendable.

I hate paying for internet. Guest Rating: 7.7

internet ...... why charge so much. Buy 24 hours but once logged on the clock is ticking, you can not log off and save time. I have always felt Novotel are experts at hidden extras. So many hotels do not even charge for internet. Why do Novotel?

The loaction to and from the Airport is easy by taxi, as its close, but close to all shopping and just a stones throw from the skytrain good prices on Room service. When you are out and about in bankok shopping or doing a tour in Bangkok you are very tired at the end of the day. So room service was what we where looking for at the end of the day, And great hotel staff, very safe hotel , rooms where very clean, I would stay here again

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : travel Agent, across the road, When you first walk in to this travel agent, you think, it would be the last place to do any sort of a tour, But that is bangkok, and we where very happy with our tours

friendliness and helpfulness of staff, who are first rate. Foyer, especially water area with flowers floating in it. So inviting. Closeness to train station. Ambiance of bar/lounge.The bakery on the ground floor is a great idea, and I have not encountered this in any other hotel in which I have stayed. Good room rate. Once again, the staff are first rate.

Have more teabags in room, as westerners can have several cups of tea a day. Preferably, fresh milk in the fridge, and not "creamer". In the bakery, possibly offer butter, toast and jam as an option at breakfast, as some people only want something light. The omelette wrap is great, but suggest more of a variety for people, who don't want to go to the dining room.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. Only five minutes walk to the train station. Great fun catching the train. My room was quite spacious. Only two minutes walk to the corner store. The food is great. Interesting location with lots of local colour in the street. The ladies in the spa give a great aromatherapy massage. Pool area is very inviting. I will definitely stay here again, and will certainly recommend it to my friends. Top hotel.

Restaurant Tip : The Thai restaurant a few doors down from the hotel, serves a really great meal.

Close to Skytrain station, friendly staff.

Difficult to reach by taxi.

This hotel is very good value for money. Not only is the hotel located very centrally. I also offers nice rooms at very competitive prices. I also appreciated the good service and the very friendly staff always trying to give you a helping hand. Meanwhile the rooms are also equipped with safety boxes which makes it even more convenient. Overall good value for your money...

Location - near BTS Skytrain Station, great street food nearby, Value - I paid $62 for a very well appointed room with marble surfaces in the bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Lobby - cool fountain in the lobby and small pond and fountain on the 11th floor.

Taxi service arranged by the hotel.

The hotel is not located on a main street, but a quiet street in a business district. It is about a 5min walk from the "Phrom Phong" BTS Skytrain station. I didn't try any of the hotel's restaurants because the street food down the street was too enticing (and cheap to boot). The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and marble floors, walls, and counters in the bathroom. The master control panel by the bed was very cool, and would turn on/off all the lights in the room, as well as set the alarm and signal the housekeeper to Do Not Disturb or Make Up Room electronically. The lobby was very nice with marble floors, wood paneling, and a large fountain with native local water foilage. Very cool. My biggest complaint is the fact that the overnight conceriege must have a personal business relationship with a taxi driver that charged me more than what a trip to the airport should be from a hotel in that area, and then the driver tried to shake me down at the airport for an additional 100 Baht. I know it's only US$3, but it's the principal of the manner. I would expect that a nicer hotel like this Novotel would only have business relationships with reputable drivers. I was charged 400 Baht. From other hotels nearby, I've gotten to the airport for less than 300. The driver tried to shake me down for 500 at the airport. Walk 2min out to the main road, and get a metered cab for a cheaper ride.

Restaurant Tip : The street food right out by the main road was both cheap and quite tasty, if you've got an adventurous appetite.

Location: walking distance from Sky Train and a well known shopping mall (Emporium) Excellent Chinese Restaurant featuring first class "dim sum"

Location: too many night bars and clubs there around.

Good hotel, nice and efficient staff. Rooms should be refreshed. For the same money you can find a better accommodation. I switched to Swissotel Le Concorde a number of years ago and I just happened to book again at Novotel to stay with some friends of mine.

Quite, secure, practical access to skytrain, good service, great breakfast.

excessive costs for wifi, in most hotels it's free or very reasonable

This was our fourth stay at novotel lotus. We find it handy with access to the sky train just a block away as well as easy to find taxis in the neighborhood . The english pubs close by and a few good food stalls are great for a snack or quick breakfast. There is a great grocery store a hundred meters away with all types of internation foods at a reasonable price and very well organized.Proximty to Siam Center and sky train access to the weekend market are definetly a plus.I recomend it to business travelers and tourists alike. We used the travel agent right accross the the street for air tickets and to make photocopies of invoices for our shipments we sent at a UPS office two stops away on the skytrain just below the Asok station by the knowledgeable gentelman there. They graciously kept our bags for us after checout until our latenight flight. The pool and gym were a welcome break from the busy streets. A great stay
