Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel Bangkok Info
As of September 2006, Accor has opened The Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel which offers the nearest and most luxurious of airport hotel accommodations. Currently a private 24-hr shuttle transports guests every 10 mins. to-and-from the airport (from airport -go to Arrivals, Level 2, Gate 4). In 2008 a walkway should be completed allowing guests direct access to the terminal via a 10-min walk. The 5-story hotel features wireless internet throughout its 612 rooms, 4 restaurants (Sala Thai, Golden Village Chinese Restaurant, Kinsen Japanese Restaurant and The Square), 2 bars, swimming pool/fitness center/spa area, 6 meeting rooms, 800-person conference room, and business center. Families will enjoy connecting rooms while business travelers may prefer the Executive Rooms. All rooms hold maximum of 4 people with 2 children free if under 15yrs old.

1. less expensive internet access would greatly benefit business travelers! (the other hotels I stayed in had free internet access)
2. brief orientation to how the lighting system worked would be helpful
3. table service in the restaurant was unnecessarily slow -- as if patrons who chose the menu over the buffet were being "punished"
A comfortable, richly appointed, full-service hotel convenient to the Bangkok airport. Impeccable service from the check-in desk to the spa, fitness, and room services. I would definitely stay here again when traveling to / from Bangkok!
Hotel Feature Tip : the Jet Lag Massage in the hotel spa is fabulous -- as are the spa facilities themselves. Definitely worth the investment whether you're just arriving after a long flight or preparing for one!!

More free English movie channels would have been nice - there is currently only one !
Stayed here twice on transit through Thailand. A great hotel less than 100m from the arrival hall of the airport. Huge, very modern, attentative staff, and many facilities including a magnificent Spa. Food outlets were varied and reasonably priced. You can always wander over to the departure hall if you want something cheaper. I will definately stay there again.

Every thing worked with no hitches
Distance to the reception desk-- then long walk to the actual room--seemed endless after long tiring flights.
Reception desk too high.
Checking in and out entailed long waits in line.
Once in my room everything was in oreder and no problems with any of the equipment. Very comfortable bed, pillows of a high standard and sheets good quality-- so lovely to sink into a comfortable bed.
The quality of the food in the Western resaurant was not up to the level expected in a Novotel-- bread dry and the beef burger, (my first western food for five weeks) well I have had better else where.
Staff charming and helpful.Although checking in and out outside peak times delays were encountered
and the mechanism of settling could be serious amended to show need improvement.
Travel tip : Pleased just to relax on route
