On8 Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel, Bangkok

This was my first stay and needless to stay I may not have to find another hotel on my next xtay in Bangkok. Its location, ambiance and rooms are unbeliveably good especially for a three star hotel. Nana BTS station is just outside the front enterance to the hotel on the main Sukhumvit road, nightlife, shopping and eating is all around !!

The hotel seems to be pretty new. The staff is genuinely helpful and friendly. The rooms are maintained really well and quite spacious. The bathroom too at least in my room was sizeable which is not a common thing amongst hotels of this category. True value for money. The front door of the restaurant leads up to the Sky train station which is most convenient. The flipside is that most rooms dont have windows. Just frosted glass. The hotel is located in a bylane off Sukhumvit Road hence the taxi driver too was not aware of the location and took considerable time going back and forth. All in all value for money and convenience of location scores well for the hotel.

Just got back from a 3-day weekend trip to Bangkok and I can't ask for more from On8! Location wise, it's literally steps away from Nana BTS station (the escalator to the BTS Station is right outside the hotel). It's 2 stops away from Chidlom BTS (where you'll find the major shopping malls such as Gaysom & Central World as well as the must-go - Platinum (wholesale) Mall and Chatuchak Market is only 15 mins BTS train ride away (Mo Chit BTS). Very convenient, I only took a cab twice - to and from the airport! The hotel is tastefully designed, and the room surprising spacious. Couldn't hear a sound from the train tracks although the BTS is so close to the hotel - double glazing maybe? The hotel has wifi throughout, which is a definite plus. And there is a laptop each in the hotel lobby and cafe for those who didn't bring their own. And the bed - oh so comfortable and the bedlinen oh so soft. Breakfast was included in my booking and you get the standard breakfast affair, fruits / cereal / juice / coffee & tea as well as cooked eggs / sausages / bacon. Gets you going for the day ahead! There is good spas just around the corner of the hotel called Baan Dalah, and they give 10% discount to On8 customers (in fact, one of the front desk staff personally took us to the spa!) All in all, a fab hotel and I've already recommended it to my friends!
