Close to airport
airport transfer allows you to take metro to any place in the city

this hotel has a convenient location close to the airport. they were also willing to take us to the airport in the evening so that we could take the metro downtown to dinner. most convenient for short stays while making airline connections. pool is small but clean.

we were met at the airport by one of the staff who had our name on a sign and taken to the mini bus for the 5 minute drive to the hotel. breakfast and lunch were served in the small dining room or outside at tables over looking the lovely garden aound the pool area. staff spoke english and there was a choice of an english breakfast or thai food. a great place to stay when arriving in the early hours of the morning.

Close to airport, airport shuttle, clean & nice

This is an awesome hotel with that price tag. The room was beautiful and had all the facilities like a five star. The hotel is close to the airport making it excellent stay for over might transit. The hotel is very well maintained with all friendly smiling people. The pool was also good, the breakfast was good for the price. I would definitely stay there again if I just want to stay in BKK overnight. There are lots of street food near the hotel, but I didn't have a chance to try. The downside of course is that it is far from CBD, but again there is not much they could do. The airport shuttle for was the best.

This hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport, 80 Baht by taxi. The rooms are very clean and fonctional. It is nosy at night, music from the local bar, the bed are little uncomfortable.Breakfast and wifi are not included. The staff are pleasant.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is a night market around 50m away for souvenirs and street food.

The hotel staff are very kind and friendly and try to help the guests in their hotel.
If I visit thailand, I'll be pleased to stay again.

there are many good small restaurants and shops beside the hotel. you may enjoy good meal and buy some good price goods.

really enjoyed my stay at the orchid. the staff were great. when confussion, mostly on my part, about a late check out arose i was offered a 20 minute foot massage as compensation. the rooms were each unique and decorated in thai modern boutique style. the breakfast was nice served downstairs in a quaint breakfast area. there was free wifi in the rooms, as well as a flat screen tv and dvd player with satellite/cable stations. there was an evening market up at the main street traditionally thai shoppers with little to no foreigners except the occasional few from the hotel. not to be misses, the food area at the market is superb.
Travel tip:
I looked in all the rooms and many were decorated differently, but all were nicely appointed. Maybe avoid the ground floor rooms, but that's just my preference.

Not so convenient to airport, not so nice hotel

I booked this hotel thinking it would be close and convenient to the hotel. However, it ended up not so close and not so convenient. It was located in a part of town that was a local neighborhood. The room was very basic with no amenities. I had to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs even though the bellman offered to carry them up. The bathroom did not have a shower. The whole bathroom was the shower! I would not stay here again even if the price was very inexpensive.
