Good hotel for airport transfer
Short taxi ride away from airport and free wifi

Room was quite small, but clean and with air conditioning. Service was fine. Shuttle bus back to airport was convenient. Decent value for money for a few hours of shuteye before a long flight.

I was very happy with the room and service and a very safe plaace to stay close to the airport. They even have some
good food at the hotel if you do not want to go out.
the only thing i did not like was the hard bed but that is in
most asian hotels.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If your just planning on staying in a hotel close to the airport this is the one, rates are very low, very safe, good looking and very cheap ride back to the airport.

i found this to be a good hotel for overnight stays, especially for catching flight connections. the rooms are small and not very new but clean, with tv (mostly thai-language though). the room has a large refrigerator, which was great. breakfast isn't free but low-cost -- and rather good, if you ask me. also, the staff is so accommodating that when i asked for food to be served in my room at a late hour, the manager herself cooked my meal! how's that for service!. i recommend this hotel without reservation if you need to stay overnight to catch a plane connection in bangkok.

our stay with orchid resort was pleasant. we stayed there for 1 nite and it was convenient to get to downdown bangkok and back via the airport train. there are quite a few restaurants at neibourhood. we took the 7:50am flight and we took the hotel airport shuttle bus at 6am to the airport which is very convenient. we will definately stay at this hotel again upon return from phukit to bkk.

The hotel staff is very helpful and asked me whether I needed transport to the airport in the first place. And the rates were reasonable too.

Run like a family enterprise. It is not a REsort! No lifts. Reception staff OK but room boy is perhaps son and a bit unfriendly. Security man stares at you. Got the impression they were all very suspicious of guests. The restaurant was not open except for breakfast, which was not that good. Bathroom extended from the balcony with nets on windows. Aircon comes from the room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Away from everything it seems except hotel. No real restaurants in the area although there is a big outdoor market with many stalls selling food, clothes et al. Take food back to the room.

Dont expect something fancy but its cheap and good enough for a sleepover waiting for your next flight.
Restaurant Tip:
Check out the local restaurants in the area. Cheap but 5 star thai food.

We didn't like the location, kinda tucked away in an ally close to the highway. I didn't know that mankind was able to make beds to hard, the bathroom was set up with the sink, toilet, and shower all together, similar to a cruise ship. but it served its purpose by giving us a few hrs of sleep and a place to clean up before our 545am flight.
