This is not the first time I have stayed here and each time I feel the same. In addition the services at the health spa are excellent.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very close to the skytrain.

What can you say about this superb hotel that hasn't already been said. I would stay here again and again!
- Restaurant Tip : Breakfast on the terrace is a delight- both in terms of the food and the location.

Strongly recommended. If you have never been to the Oriental you have never been to the best hotel in the world. As the friendly porters said when we left "... until next time - hope to see you again". Well, I will stay in the Oriental the next time I will be in Bangkok for sure.

A traditional hotel from a past era but with up to date hospitality and service. All the staff seem to know you by name, we still can't work out how they do this!
- Restaurant Tip : The terrace restaurant at night is a superb way to see the river come alive, and the food is divine!

The riverboats were brilliant in enabling us access to the spa, skytrain, and other hotels as required.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Easy to get to Chatuchak market and Sukhumvit via skytrain

For more than 30 years I had dreamed of staying at the Oriental. Thanks to Agoda.com, I could finally do it! I will stay there again. It's worth it! At the breakfast buffet, I commented to the chef that the baguette was hard. He went off and baked a fresh one for me and brought it to my table--fresh and hot. It was heavenly!
- Shopping Tip : The Oriental's boat will take you directly to the Riverside Shopping Plaza. Go there! It's better than visiting a museum.
