This is a very good no fuss budget hotel with possibly the best value for money offering in all of Bangkok in my experience. Staff are very helpful, wifi is available in the lobby without charge, room AC is very efficient and for those wanting the services of a major hotel the Sheraton is right next door.

Cost and easy simplicity but with very good service.

Lack of a restaurant - other than breakfast - if that is of concern.

• Hotel Feature Tip : If attending a conference at the Sheraton this is a very good low cost option.

Great little hotel for the budget traveler Guest Rating: 4.3

The taxi ride from the Airport should cost you about 400 Baht, tell the driver to take you to the Royal Orchid Sheraton. From there you can walk to the hotel. If you are facing the Sheraton go to your left and the P and R is across from al the bronze statues, about 2 min walk. The Hotel is clean, hot water and AC work properly. You can walk to the pier and use the boats to get around town. The restaurant at the pier Sala Thai is not good and is totally overpriced. Ask the receptionist about this little place called Harmonique, a great restaurant hidden in a small street with great Thai food, great service and a unforgettable atmosphere.

First impressions are good .. very friendly front office staff .. no waiting .. registration takes but a few moments .. room is bright clean and neat .. a few minutes walk and at river foreshore .. public transport almost at front door .. the small 7-11 store beside the Bigger neighbour Sheridan Hotel is good to top up room fridge .. overall had a nice stay here.

This small hotel has location location location.. very clean big bright Delux rooms .. excellent front office staff .. quiet yet moments from public transport system .

Perhaps a little basic on the small extras. ie soap shampoo in shower .. no tea coffee in room .. very limited stock in mini bar..

• Shopping Tip : 24 hour 7-11 store just around corner from hotel .. very handy for those late night snacks..

it took quite some time to get from mo-chit station to get to the hotel, you have to expect at least 40 min drive. but when we had to go from the hotel to the airport, it was actually convenient because it is near the express way, it only took about 30 min to get to the airport. there are plenty of taxis outside the hotel so you don´t have to worry about getting around.

well located, when you first realize where it is. near bus stop and near sri phraya habour.

the address was confusing, it says captain bush lane soi 34 and charoengrung 30 but it was actually the same street but has two names, very confusing for the taxi driver.

My 2 day stay at P&R residence Guest Rating: 3.8

P&R residence is conveniently located near Chaophraya River where there are many boat taxis which can take us to many nice temples and restaurants by the river. Also we can catch the BTS sky train using the boat taxi first then BTS into Siam area. The staff are friendly and helpful and even if the hotel is simply in decoration and amenities, it was clean and comfortable enough for 2 persons in one room. I would not recommend this place for families , but it would be nice for short stays and for people wanting to be near the river or Silom financial district. There are alot of jewerly shops around that area but you must be a little cautious when buying. All in all, it was a good experience.

Clean and comfortable room, not too small or big.

No parking for my visitors. Maybe they should have some spaces to park in the building or restaurant near by and we can validate the parking at the hotel.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Many temples like Wat Arun, The Grand Palace and many nice hotels to have dinner around there.

Good hotel in a good region Guest Rating: 4.0

The hotel is a good one in a very good area, were all the big, expensive hotels are. The best thing is, that the pier to go by boat throungh the city is right around the corner, so you can use the ceapest infrastructure in this city. Also the skytraine is not fare away. The rooms are clean, but they smell a little bit old.

Good budget hotel Guest Rating: 4.0

The hotel was a nice place to stay near the river and easy to find if you tell the taxi driver to go to the Sheraton in Charoen Krung. P&R Residence is just beside the Sheraton...Staff were very friendly and the room was clean, the air conditioner worked, the water was hot if needed and everything was as it should be ...I would have no complaints about this hotel considering the price. Very convenient if you wish to travel on the river for sightseeing.

The hotel was in a very convenient location for river tours and sightseeing...the staff were very courteous and friendly.

None to speak of really ....perhaps the stairs could do with a new carpet!!

I really enjoyed the stay here you can easly find tuk tuk and taxi boat only 2 minutes walking from the hotel also 7/11 open all night great deal.
