It was a very neat and appropriately located place. This simple hotel has all the main conditions for the average traveler.
Without many luxuries it places you close to the city center and near the main transportation means.
It is near the heart of Bangkok's Chinatown and has pleanty of eating places nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : From the airport to the city center we were advised that the most secure travel option is taking a metered taxi at the departure terminal when they leave passengers (at the arrival there is a surcharge to which tourists are subjected). On these trips usually highway fares are payed by the passenger.
In the city ride a tuk tuk at least one time for the experience, but avoid them by all means... despite what they may say tuk tuk drivers will never take you to the place you want the way you'd like to go and within a reasonable time window (this is mainly because they constantly pushing people to visit shops where they will get free gasoline for taking you even if you don't spend any money).
For the main touristic attractions the most efficient and cheapest way we found to travel from one point to the other was through the Chao Phraya Express Boat... it is really unexpensive and fast unlike the city transportation.
You can trust the pitoresque cornerside and walkways snack-bars which altough looking fishy the food is very good and extremely cheap by European standards.
If you've read so far I congratulate you and as a reward traveler's tip... bargaing everything, Thai people is always looking for a good deal and their first price is always negotiable.

They do not have computers and the closes one is a ten minute cab ride. Nothing around at night except massage and 7 11
My driver was unaware of the location. the agoda website had the address but no phone number so the driver could get the directions in thai. I was unable to get a phone number on any web site. when I finally arrived I wanted to inform my daughter on the internet that I made it safely and where we should meet in the morning and there are no computers in the area. the room was clean but not at all like the picture ie no lamps to read by and the television didn't work. I checked out at 4:00 am and went to my daughters hotel. which was the Marriott. I got a room there.

cleanliness, no restaurant
This was a functional hotel for our stay in Bangkok. It is away from Kao San road, which was important to us. It is located right beside the Sheraton hotel, so it was easy to give directions to the hotel. There is also a Ferry Pier next door, so travelling the city by boat is the best mode of transportation. The rooms were big, but there were a lot of ants (not a big concern to me, but my fiance was not happy.)
Restaurant Tip : Go to the traditional Thai dinner and dance show around the corner at the restaurant in River City.
