Near Huay Kuang station. Easy access to airport (25-30 mins) Close to good shopping centers like Esplanade, Carrefour & Fortune.

Surrounded by sleazy massage and entertainment.

Hotel has all the basic needs for the lone traveller. Rooms are big enough and are quite comfortable. Nothing to view from hotel rooms except if you enjoy looking at neon lights displaying the various massage palors along Ratchadapisek Road. This place is not for one to bring along a family for holidays and sight seeing etc. Huay Kuang, is quite a distance away from the usual shopping belt or MBK< Siam Center etc. Walk to the train station is around 7-8 mins, hassle when rain and is pretty uncomfortable when hot.

Shopping Tip : Best place to shop for electronics out of Pantip Plaza. At Fortune, 2 stations away on the 4th level, this whole floor consists of nothing but electronics and software etc.

reasonable rates, good location

no hair dryer, tap water brownish

The hotel comes with all the basic facilities. WiFi is very expensive as compared with what you could get from any of the internet cafes around the area. Close to Thailand Cultural Center, Esplanade, Carrefour and Fortune Town. Rooms are clean and large with TV sets.....not enough sports channels and too many Thai language channels.

Nightlife Tip : Enjoy the wild massage service just around the hotel. This area is full of them. At soi 4 there are many happening clubs with life music.

Location

Service, warm lobby

Location is very good as it is just minutes away from the Subway. If going to town, just need to change MRT in Sukhumvit. I'd booked the Studio but to my surprise the TV is only 19 inch LCD, which the photos shows a huge TV set! Told the staffs of why is it so, they just claims is like that and unable to change room. The lock for the main door is not working and it takes 2 days for them to get me another room, very inefficient. Will not stay again for the next trip to Bangkok.

Location good

Some construction can be heard in the morning.

The hotel is located opp to 7 - 11. A ATM machine was also position opposite the hotel. The Hua Kwang Market was located a 5 min walk from the hotel. The market open until 4am. it full of night snack and local thai food. You can buy clothes, shoes and soft toy. But many shop selling girl stuff. But still a good place to walk around

Spacious room, clean sheets and towels, good breakfast spread, courteous staff.

No non-smoking rooms, wireless network access overpriced, no basic utensils (teaspoons, for example) in room, no electronic safe

My 5 nights' stay at Palazzo hotel was hassle-free and comfortable. The room facilities were just right, and I appreciated the fact that the bedsheets and towels were changed daily. The buffet breakfast spread had plenty of choices and the cooked food was reasonably good. I especially liked the location of the hotel, with easy access to the MRT system and to the nearby Robinsons and Carrefour shopping areas. And of course its location at the centre of the Ratchada entertainment district is a real attraction. I also found that getting to and from the airport was quick as it bypassed city centre traffic congestion. All in all, it was good value for money, especially with the Agoda discount. I would recommend Palazzo to anyone looking for a clean comfortable place to stay with easy access to trains, shopping and entertainment areas.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Chutachak weekend markets is worthe visiting, especially as it is only a few stations away.

Great location, near massage, near market at the back

Hotel air conditioner is not able to tune properly, too cold

Definitely I will stay here again. Although the hotel room really need a lot of maintenance. But they have new wings which you need to pay extra. The best is near BTS where you can go anywhere easily and save your money on Taxi.

Relatively clean, decent and generally good value. The best selling point is the locality where seafood, shopping and train station is within walking distance

Maintence staff is not keen in fixing problem despite of calling him twice to fix the hot water. Front Office staff not so friendly and dosent smile ironically, forgetting that they priceless icon 'Land of Thousand Smiles'. Also, there is no safe box even in their Deluxe Room. Unbelievable!!

Generally, good priced hotel if you lower your expecatation. Great location within reach like seafood, traditional massage outlets, shopping centres Fortune, Carefour and Robinson. Hotel generally clean however customer service/maintence area needs massive improvement. Of course you pay what you get!!

Nightlife Tip : Reasonably priced seafood - Somboon or Ah Kuang afterwhich either shopping at renowned shopping centre of go for a relaxing body massage or foot reflexalogy.

Near Hway Kwang MRT

Hotel water not clean.

Hotel is well located, only 8 mins walk to the Hway Kwang train station. This is a sure plus as the Bangkok traffic can literally come to a stand still at times. The breakfast spread is really good and the rooms are neat and spacious. The hotel should look into the water system as the water from the tap is brownish...kind of like its rusty in looks and smell....best not to even brush your tooth in it. Toilet is also not user friendly, no hair dryer and no holder for shampoo etc. Staffs are very helpful and polite. This is a good hotel for those who are not too fussy about minor details...like water???

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are many things to see and do around the hotel. The Thai Cultural Center is just 1 station away, though I have not been there, it should be worth a family trip. Turn right on coming out of hotel and follow the road till it comes to a wet market. This place is full of interesting ingredients, food is simply delicious and you can sample fried cockroach, grasshoppers etc.

Inexpensive rooms, close to MRT, average breakfast selections, close to all activities, not far from famous "Thai massage parlours".

Requires attention to regular maintenance issues, mildewed and smalll bathrooms.

Overall a decent hotel for the price. It very close to the airport, about 20 minutes or so in the day so you dont spend a lot of money on the cab. There is a 24 hour convenience store right across the street for whatever you might need. The breakfast buffet is pretty good considering the price. There are many shopping malls nearby. There's also a few traditional massage parlors across the street which are quite good if you want to relax. There's also many other massage places around the corner from it if you like that. Its also very close to the MRT station. Great place to stay if you want to stay for a few nights, if longer I suggest the Sukhumvit area.

Shopping Tip : close to MRT and shopping

Room is spacious. Buffet breakfast provides some oriental hot dishes, as well as the common western stuff like bread, salad, milk, juice, etc. Simple and good enough. Near Huay Kwang MRT station. Convenient to go other places.

May be I stayed in one of the connecting room. It's easy to hear talks from next room. Also during my stay of 2 days, there are some renovation work upstairs.
