Excellent value for money. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Not the best location. Only about a 5-minute walk from the skytrain but if you are going for shopping it will be better to get a hotel that is closer to the shops and skytrain.

The Park Plaza Hotel is really good value for money and I enjoyed my 4 nights stay very much. The rooms are very clean with a lovely bathroom – stunning bath for soaking after a long day of shopping. We stayed in the Deluxe Corner room which was quite spacious. The hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Very modern, pleasing design, very friendly staff, good location

If any, Flat Screen TV should be able to be angled as neither from the bed nor from the sofa you look straight at it. Not a big issue though.

We were very happy to stay there and will do so again. I stayed in many hotels in BKK, from cheap to very expensive and we liked this place a lot. Had a corner room and enjoyed it thoroughly. Very modern equipment, nice layout, very clean, comfi bed, very friendly staff. Great smell in all hallways due to scented candles around all over. Small but neat pool on the rooftop. One of the better Pizzas I ever had in Thailand served in the Restaurant. All in all happy and will stay there again.

Travel tip : It's so close to the BTS, take it as it avoids the hassle of the constant traffic jams

nice clean, high tech rooms. Close to skytrain.

Boring neighborhood, small pool, only average food.

Stayed at the Park Plaza for two nights. Our style was very comfortable, the room was quite nice and I appreciated the central control for the ac and lights reachable from the bed. The neighborhood seemed a little dead though and the pool wasn't nearly as I had expected. I had gotten a deluxe room but the difference between standard and deluxe seem to be an awkwardly placed bathtub in a corner of the bathroom. The "king" bed in the standard room is also just two beds pushed together. There was also a time when all the electricity stopped but that was short lasting I believe. Overall, a nice, pleasant stay especially for the price.

just as good as all the others say ! Guest Rating: 10

location, pool on the roof, rooms, friendly and quick service + a bunch of small things, very reasonably priced.

I chose to stay in the parkplaza because of the other reviews and i was not disappointed. The location is great, just 150 m away from skytrain station Asok and therefore well connected to the whole city. I had a corner room which is slightly more expensive, but it was absolutely worth it. The hotel had a kind of promotion during my stay, that was "get every third night for free" and so i stayed six days. I will definitely stay in parkplaza again when i return to Bangkok the next time...

Hotel Feature Tip : I would ask for a room as much high in the building as possible..

large room storage space slippers staff rooftop pool

view distance from Grand Palace

My friend and I spent only one night in Bangkok, so we didn't make much use of the hotel (we were also fighting off jet lag). The staff was friendly upon our arrival and tried to help us with tourist information. The room was nice and large and comfortable. I liked the slippers. We saw the rooftop pool, which looked nice, but we were never able to make use of it. We were pretty far away from the Grand Palace, which was the one sight we knew we wanted to see. We ended up taking a taxi, which was fine going out, but we got stuck in traffic coming back, and it took forever. Overall, the hotel was nice.

Modern, clean and well appointed. Delightful staff, charming and friendly. Swimming pool on top floor was well received due to the heat and humidity in a built up area! Food good. Modern and clean rooms - very comfortable beds.

Did not really dislike anything for a small hotel in central Bangkok.

Having booked on the internet and not sure what to expect were highly delighted. Staff were excellent. Always on hand to offer advice, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent rooms with very comfortable beds and superb shower rooms. Food good and comfortable, modern facilities for both eating and lounging. Internet services free too!!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Recommending what to see and also obtained taxis for us.

Accommodation is above the standard we were expecting. Along with the cleanliness and staff.

Local area is a little daunting, but once your used to it you realize the people are lovely and it is a nice place.

The Park Plaza is a gem in the making. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out, upholds the highest level of cleanliness. The surrounding area is a little scruffy but nothing too bad. It is within a two-minute walk to the local underground and the skytrain. There are a few bars also within a short walk. All in all a great place.

We stayed in the Bangkok Park Plaza for 2 nights, it was in a great location for the skytrain and the underground so was really easy to get around. We ate in the hotel and the food was delicious. The rooms were clean and luxurious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend and would stay there again if we return to Bangkok.

Shopping Tip : There are two different night markets close by, both good and both are just a few stops on the underground.

Very close to BTS Skyline (Asok Station). Free and fast Internet access Nice pool on top of building and gym. Very friendly and helpfull staff (very polite)

Breakfast was not included in my rate and it is quite expensive ($350 baht w/ taxes). Sukhumvit is kind of far from tourist places -Grand palace, etc - but BTS train may overcome it.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is very close to ASOK BTS Skyline station and it is sourounded by many shops, restaurants, massage houses and bars. The hotel is very clean, staff is very polite and kindness. Service is overall nice. The room is new and at a decent size. Very clean by the way. The only negative point is that I haven't noticed that my rates did not include breakfast, and it is quite expensive to have it at the own hotel ($350 baht). As alternative, there are coffee shops around the area (Starbucks) or other alternatives (McDonalds, etc...)

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very nice massage house at few blocks from the Hotel. Walk to Starbucks on the BTS Skyline train road and you will see the building with big advertisement. Turn left on the street and it will be the nicest massage houses on the street (you can identify clearly)

Excellent, hotel. Great staff Guest Rating: 10

Awesome breakfast and everything you need

the gym wasn't the best. but adequate.

I've stayed a number of times at the Park plaza in Bangkok, It's a great hotel. it's not too big or small (just right). the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are grea, they are luxurious without being over the top. they have plenty of space and the right amenities. One great aspect of the hotel is it's proximity to the rail network. which is only about 5 minutes walk and lets you get to ever where in the city without having to hassle with the horrible traffic. One note, though it's a new hotel and most cab's don't know the place. they do have a map/card which makes it easier to get back to.

Very modern and comfortable

Bar a little small and lacks any atmosphere

This hotel has a good location near shops, markets and Times Square. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. It is very modern and comfortable and offers extremely good value for money, although I found the food and bar prices to be a little steep, although, for international hotels, this is average. Overall though I am very happy and look forward to staying there again.

Hip. Half-price food. Rooftop pool. Close to SkyTrain and subway.

No complimentary breakfast.

I really liked this place. There's free wifi. And the food at the restaurant was half off (at least when I was there). The rooftop pool is awesome. The staff was helpful. Only complaint is no included breakfast. So you might want to stock up on cereal, bread and jam at a Seven-Eleven and keep it in the mini fridge.

Close to the skytrain

complete rip-off breakfast, corporate rooms and sterile environment

I must confess that it was my mistake about the breakfast - my assumption of inclusive was wrong but to pay 450 baht for one person for a simple buffet is appalling. The rooms are sterile and adequate - certainly not luxury. I would say it is at an international 3 star rated hotel at best.
