Good value in great location just off Sukumvit Road and 5 minutes stroll from Skytrain. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms were of a high standard, modern with all amenities. Ate dinner in restaurant and good choice at reasonable prices. Breakfast also good. Would stay again/ recommend.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Aquarium in Siam Centre is well worth a visit although quite expensive.

Location to the subways/trains could not have been better, the hotel staff was great and accommodated most every request.

Only two computers for internet use which was fine most of the time but did have to wait a couple of times

The Park Plaza will definitely be seeing us again. We checked in pretty late but hotel had my flight info from agoda.com reservation message, but check-in was easy and painless. The room was quite nice and seemed rather new-like condition. The restaurant (had daily breakfast) was quite adequate, but again its the staff great attitude/service that puts it over the edge. Whenever we asked the staff for assistance (making reservations, arranging transportation, info for tourist destinations), every and every staff person was helpful and made our trip one of the best.

Restaurant Tip : "Condoms and Cabbage" (very well know) is around the corner and one of my favorite restaurants!

VERY comfortable bed, good shower and clean

breakfast was not explained that every item was chrged for, it was made out to us that it was like a buffet and there was one breakfast charge. food and drink is way over priced both in the bar restaurant and even more on the mini bar. bottle of water in the hotel 150B in the shop next door 7B.

The hotel is good for someone who is in town for a short period of time and needs to be on that side of town. to travel from the hotel to the other side of town to khosan road can take over an hour due to the high traffic levels in the evening, getting back from khsoan road late at night could take only 15 minutes. not great overall for someone looking to stay for a long period of time or want to see things apart from the shops.

Hotel Feature Tip : dont use the mini bar stock up your own and dont have breakfast here there is a place down the road.

excellent hotel with a great location.a 2 minute walk to the skytrain.walking distance to all the bars and restaurants in sukhumvit.from the moment u arrive u are treated very very well.nothing is a problem for the staff to arrange,rooms are very spacious with a great view of bangkok.excellent value for money and would definatly stay here again.

Good location, clean, good service, comfortable, not too many people

Rooms, pool, gym are a bit small

This is a small hotel. That's good in terms of the number of rooms but not so good in terms of the size of the rooms. I stayed in a larger corner room which had decent dimensions but the layout wasn't perfect. The double closet was at the end of the bed so the flatscreen TV was on the wall closer to the door. That meant that you did not have a great view of the TV from the bed (OK for news but not comfortable for watching a movie) or from the sofa. The work desk was good it was there you had the best view of the TV so it might be a good room if you have a lot of work to do, as I did. The bathroom again was an alright size but the layout was a little cramped due to the large bathtub. I found it a little inconvenient for getting in and out of the shower stall. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was offered to switch to another room when I complained about the TV viewing angle. Unfortunately, the other room had just been vacated and there was a strong men's locker-room type odour so I decided to stay put. The hallways have a strong lemongrass smell which is alright at first but gets to be too much very quickly. I asked them not to put it at my end of the hall and they complied (and remembered) for my entire week-long stay. The internet access is a bit annoying as it involves an unsecured WIFI network and a user/password sign in from a web form. It requires a new login/redirection after a very short period of inactivity. As well, each internet device requires a different user/password. The staff gave me a second user/password at no charge with no fuss (as well they should!) The restaurant has prices comparable to the western restaurants in the area and the food is quite good. The rooftop pool and gym are quite small but pleasant enough with lounge chairs but no garden. My biggest complaint is the music at the pool is way too loud. It's hard to read with it going and it's definitely not relaxing. The music is reminiscent of a trendy bar but there is no "scene" here

I stayed 13 night in the Park Plaza on september october and found it great value for money. The rooms are spotless with very very modern decor and the roof top pool is gorgeous. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel has free internet access which was very helpful,I have been to many hotels in Bangkok but i am sure that Park Plaza is number ONE on my list. service is very very nice,front desk, doorman bell boys,houskeping and all staff in the hotel. I never forgot all of them service I will be back :when I make the choise to stay again in bangkok :a BIG YES thanks to agoda, make reservation to me

Staff great english ect.. Good central location close to BTS and MRT (trains)

Traffic in this area is a nightmare.. No Bath tub in the room

Great value bangkok hotel, kinda business orientated. Although me and my girlfriend felt complataly at home here. Staff spoke great English and help us with restaurant recommendations ect.. Value for money was the key here, Not a 5* hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but great value for money for what it offered.

Amazingly nice rooms. Very close to Asoke BTS and MRT. Soothing lemon grass smell. Fast and free Internet in rooms.

Difficult for taxis to return to hotel due to median in Asoke. Housekeeping not very good.

I like this property, but it needs to improve. The good points are that is a new property with very comfortable beds and pillows, free fast Internet, nicely decorated rooms, lemon grass aroma in all hallways, a nice shower, a cute roof-top gym and pool, and friendly front desk staff. The bad parts are that, like a trend in a few other hotels in Bangkok, they want to stop cleaning rooms at 4pm (in general) and housekeeping will call you even with the do-not-disturb light on, and ask to clean your room. Also, when I inform the front desk to insure housekeeping puts the ironing board and iron back in the closet, this never seems to gets done, so the small details of good service and housekeeping management are lacking. Having said that (the facts), I still like the property and hope it will improve. It is a good value when under or around 2000 baht per night. It just needs better management of housekeeping by hotel management, something often lacking in locally owned and managed properties.

Hotel Feature Tip : When returning to the hotel by taxi from Sukhumvit, you will have to go a few kilos out of your way and make a U-turn. If it is not raining you can save time by getting out of the taxi on the side opposite the hotel and walking across the street. Otherwise, if the traffic is heavy, you will waste a lot of time as the location is not good for taxis, but it is very good by foot.

corner deluxe room is spacious and modern. bed is extremely comfortable.

reception - not all staff are helpful. those that are helpful tried their best, which we really appreciated. 1 of the girl is actually rude. we were 10 min late to check-out. she gave me a tell-off over the phone that it will not be chargable this time but will be liable for charges when we stayed in the hotel the next time. shldn't they be more flexible? if we have to count the minutes, we checked in arnd 9pm (officially time shld be after 2pm), taking an extra 10 minutes shldn't kill them!

if not for the rude female receptionist, it wld have been a great stay. it is just bad ending to a wonderful stay that we had. location is central and close to skytrains and mrt stations.

Restaurant Tip : soi 14, suda restaurant - it is affordable and food is delicious

very clean, modern, and spacious rooms

Although the hotel advertises currency conversion, it was not available. Not what I needed to discover as I was preparing to catch an early morning taxi with only a few baht in my pocket.

This is my second stay at the Park Plaza: After too many expensive hotels in Hong Kong, this is a great value with clean and spacious rooms that have a very modern decor. The roof-top pool provides a great location from which to observe the city.

Hotel Feature Tip : close to the mass transit system, so very easy to get to various sites around town.

Not many restaurants in walking distance

I think this is only a 4 star hotel ? But we were impressed with the room's design n cleanliness. We only stay for 2 nights in Bangkok before we depart for another city in Thailand.From the roof top you get to take lovely night scenery pictures. The gym room is well equipped and comes with water cooler in the shower room. We found the pool water too cold though. Overall BTS ( MTR) nearby, so pretty convenient. Breakfast is superb and comes with the room cost. However if you have a 3rd person ( for us is our daughter ) is pretty ex considering she didnt eat alot and costs about SGD 16. However we like this hotel and will definitely visit again if we visit bangkok !

- quite new hotel - nice rooms

- not nice area, there is nothing else there.

The hotel looks nice and it is new so it is still quite fresh. We got a non-smoking room with cigarete smell, we could change after some hassle. The personal is not well trained and starts to ask too many personal questions. They try to be friendly but I guess they dont know how and what customers appreciate.

Travel tip : There is a German resturant close to the hotel called Bei Otto. They have very nice breakfast.

This hotel was a treat, normally we are budget travellers but as it was my birthday we wanted to splash out on something more luxurious, but still get value for money. The Park Plaza fitted the bill perfectly. The room was wonderful, as were the views. The staff were fabulous, when they found out it was my birthday they even sent me up a birthday cake! The pool was great, we loved the views from it and it was quite quiet, most of the day we had it to ourselves. Definitely great value for money for such a good quality hotel.

Travel tip : Loved the umbrella provided in the room, perfect for a Bangkok downpour!

A pleasant 3 night stay, staff exceedingly helpful as I needed to visit a hospital. Very cool, clean, comfy hotel. Loved l'ambience great location you can get anywhere combination skytrain and chao pryha express (boat)..lovely buffet breakfast would stay there again without hesitation

Travel tip : Make sure you print out the directions in Thai for a cab, as it is quite new many are not familiar with it, although all can get you to the Asok MTR station
