liked the pool.food was fantastic a real pleasant surprise.staff was most helpful.located very close to ashoke station.

cabs need to take a real long drive to come back to the hotel.

its a brand new hotel and very well designed.i loved the bathrooms.the staff wentout of their way to help.all of the staff were very courteous and always willing to help in any possible way.The food was really good.it was good to have a backup so that we did not have to look for a place to eat every night.it is very well located at a junction close to ashoke staion.walking distance from robinsons and a no. of other places on sukhumvit.most prominent malls are just a few stations away.

Shopping Tip : money changer outside hotel gave good exchange rates and a fully equipped liquor store also conveniently located.

- Close to action - Very Modern Hotel - Incredibly well designed rooms - Great Value - Rooftop Swimming Pool

My wife and I booked this incredible hotel for our two night stay in Bangkok and were simply amazed with the value and experience of this hotel. The Park Plaza Sukhumvit Hotel is a must stay its about a 150m walk to Asoke BTS Skytrain Station and the Sukhumvit District. The hotel looks brand new (or recently refurbished), don't miss the rooftop swimming pool to escape the Bangkok heat. Overall the best value hotel in Bangkok if not all Thailand.

Lovely room on 15th floor. Beautiful swimming pool on roof.

only bad thing was having to drag my luggage to sky train.

Reviewed many different hotels and selected this one as it is rated very well on many review sites. Had only a short stay but enjoyed the friendly staff, the room was nice and facilities were great. Location to sky train was handy and would recommend to others to stay there. I would stay there again on my return to Thailand - great value for money.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Due to the close proximity to the sky train, it made this hotel easy to commute to cities attractions.

We planned on staying for 3 days but as we fell in love with the hotel so much we stayed on for a week. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again in the future.

Shopping Tip : If you are looking for fake designer watches go to the MBK shopping center in the third floor. I bought a Rolex it looks great.

New and modern design, staff were friendly and always ready to help, nice 24 hour gym, free use of internet in the room.

Hot water in the bathroom is not consistent.

Hotel location may not be central with all the malls but is very near BTS skytrain and MTR. (5 min walk) . Stayed at the deluxe corner room and was very impressed by the modern design and comfort. Had to pay extra for breakfast and found it over priced. Will definitely stay here again if I was to visit again.

modern, clean comfortable rooms. Super nice and helpful staff. Eating in the hotel is a deal and the food is really good!

The pool is adequate, no bar or little restaurant for poolside snacks. The gym is ultra small.

My holiday started rocky as i got stuck in Tokyo and could not get to Bangkok for 30 hrs. When i arrived at the Park Plaza i was pleasantly surprised to say the least. The lobby is calming and cool, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. My room was minimal yet modern, with a wonderful bed and bathroom. Felt like my little oasis in the middle of Bangkok. Would stay there again on my next visit without a doubt.

Travel tip : Suda restaurant around the corner. Good Thai food good price, chill out and have a beer.

Excellent value for money. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Not the best location. Only about a 5-minute walk from the skytrain but if you are going for shopping it will be better to get a hotel that is closer to the shops and skytrain.

The Park Plaza Hotel is really good value for money and I enjoyed my 4 nights stay very much. The rooms are very clean with a lovely bathroom – stunning bath for soaking after a long day of shopping. We stayed in the Deluxe Corner room which was quite spacious. The hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Very modern, pleasing design, very friendly staff, good location

If any, Flat Screen TV should be able to be angled as neither from the bed nor from the sofa you look straight at it. Not a big issue though.

We were very happy to stay there and will do so again. I stayed in many hotels in BKK, from cheap to very expensive and we liked this place a lot. Had a corner room and enjoyed it thoroughly. Very modern equipment, nice layout, very clean, comfi bed, very friendly staff. Great smell in all hallways due to scented candles around all over. Small but neat pool on the rooftop. One of the better Pizzas I ever had in Thailand served in the Restaurant. All in all happy and will stay there again.

Travel tip : It's so close to the BTS, take it as it avoids the hassle of the constant traffic jams

nice clean, high tech rooms. Close to skytrain.

Boring neighborhood, small pool, only average food.

Stayed at the Park Plaza for two nights. Our style was very comfortable, the room was quite nice and I appreciated the central control for the ac and lights reachable from the bed. The neighborhood seemed a little dead though and the pool wasn't nearly as I had expected. I had gotten a deluxe room but the difference between standard and deluxe seem to be an awkwardly placed bathtub in a corner of the bathroom. The "king" bed in the standard room is also just two beds pushed together. There was also a time when all the electricity stopped but that was short lasting I believe. Overall, a nice, pleasant stay especially for the price.

just as good as all the others say ! Guest Rating: 10

location, pool on the roof, rooms, friendly and quick service + a bunch of small things, very reasonably priced.

None

I chose to stay in the parkplaza because of the other reviews and i was not disappointed. The location is great, just 150 m away from skytrain station Asok and therefore well connected to the whole city. I had a corner room which is slightly more expensive, but it was absolutely worth it. The hotel had a kind of promotion during my stay, that was "get every third night for free" and so i stayed six days. I will definitely stay in parkplaza again when i return to Bangkok the next time...

Hotel Feature Tip : I would ask for a room as much high in the building as possible..

large room storage space slippers staff rooftop pool

view distance from Grand Palace

My friend and I spent only one night in Bangkok, so we didn't make much use of the hotel (we were also fighting off jet lag). The staff was friendly upon our arrival and tried to help us with tourist information. The room was nice and large and comfortable. I liked the slippers. We saw the rooftop pool, which looked nice, but we were never able to make use of it. We were pretty far away from the Grand Palace, which was the one sight we knew we wanted to see. We ended up taking a taxi, which was fine going out, but we got stuck in traffic coming back, and it took forever. Overall, the hotel was nice.
