Hotel has an excellent location shelter all the way to national stadium station. It has good security and polite staff. Great for couples, family or business traveller. The rooms are spacious and modern in design. Level 8 has an excellent gym and pool / relaxation facility. Somewhere that makes you want to come back to stay all over again.
Shopping Tip:
There is a suit tailor just at the MBK junction of the hotel. Suit ready in 16 hrs!

5 star may be a bit too high

complained about the excessive charges for WiFi to the front desk and only got from them attitude and a list of other 5 star hotels which charge for WiFi. My response: but do those other 5 star hotels named have a mandary METAL DETECTOR which I must walk through every time upon entering the place? Only '5 star' in the world I've been with such a 'feature'. Buffet cost was comically expensive and food was not that good. Great pool and gym facilities, but it also serves as a gym for the masses. I'm sure it adds a nice piece of revenue for the hotel but yet another thing taking back from the 5 star experience.

i have stayed at this total previously and noted on this occasion that even though the room had been renovated it was poor craftsmanship and the room already looked worn. the air conditioner did not regulate its temperature so the room was very cold all night, ants in the room as well, so i requested a room change. the second room was of a higher standard. generally the hotel is in a prime location but in my opinion the overall ageing condition of the hotel does meet it's star rating and price tag.
Shopping Tip:
From buying original Guzzu hand bags to copies of Diesal jeans, its all there for you to buy at the adjoining malls.

I spent a weekend at bkk just for the water festival and the hotel staffs were really nice and sweet, they even advised us where to go to have nice thai food and where not to go.
Shopping Tip:
you have really check this Chatuchuk market out..its way cheap and you can get alot of vintage clothes

Great Location - Nice Rooms
Adjacent to the MBK shopping Mall, Gym & Pool area clean and inviting. Sports complex, unbelievably large.

we had a very plesent stay. the rooms are ultra modern with great views of bangkok and what can i say about the personal access to the mbk shopping mall via the ground floor or level 1..fantastic!!

Take lots of money with you! plenty to buy and see.

Get location for serious shoppers

I would highly recommend this huge hotel for those who love to shop. The hotel is obviously connected to MBK, but you can also access undercover walkways that run next to the light rail to access Siam Centre, Siam Paragon and Siam Discovery. A little bit further up the road you can also access Central World. Coupled with a reasonable price, good service and one of the best equipped hotel gyms I have ever seen, I would highly recommend this hotel for short stays.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The pool area is a little oasis - a great escape from the busy city streets below.

the hotel is connected to mbk and great for shopping. nice pool and clean.
the only problem we had was the confusion with agoda. we booked 2 rooms and 2 people per room. in the booking shows adutls 2 , 2 rooms. the hotel asked us to pay more because the adults should be 4 people in total.
we had to spend a lot of time to sort it out with agoda.

Staff are friendly and helpful

The staff are service oriented and helpful. The overal stay was great. The only thing i rather unhappy was the stains spotted on the wash basin.
Shopping Tip:
MBK is next to the hotel. BTS is around nearby.
