Location of the hotel was great and convenient. Room was a good size and breakfast range was great!
The concierge was not that helpful and when they did help they were saying it would cost money for their help in future, ie. reservations for a restaurant.
Location of the hotel was great and convenient. Room was a good size and breakfast range was great! The concierge was not that helpful and when they did help they were saying it would cost money for their help in future, ie. reservations for a restaurant. Cleanliness of everything was good and staff cleaners were friendly and polite. The biggest pro for the hotel is the location and convenience to get around Siam and the Shopping Malls. You can walk through MBK shopping mall which is attached to the hotel and then go to the skywalk and walk to the rest of the malls. Great to avoid some of the heat. Most taxis know the hotel well. National Stadium station is just next to MBK. so convenient to get around to other locations.

Location, included breakfast with vast offerings, view of the city
A bit modern for my taste, bed was not extremely comfortable
This hotel was very nice, we didn't have many complaints, though I'm not sure the hotel was entirely worthy of the price. We stayed here for the great location to MBK, Siam Center, and the Sky Train, which all proved to be a great reason to stay. Service was professional yet pleasant, no complaints with this hotel, no real overwhelming "wow" factor either.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We took the Sky Train to the Weekend Market-- a must-do!

This hotel is link together with mbk shopping mall. Very convenient for families and those who are travelling alone. Not a problem to get a cab ad well. I will definitely stay in this hotel again. Oh and their breakfast is first class!! Thumbs up!!

New renovation excellent - very clean and spacious. Excellent value for money and proximity to MBK mall for those that love to shop!!
I was disappointed with the Tantara Spa due to a continual drilling noise throughout the treatment due to the current hotel renovations taking place.
The Pathumwan Princess Hotel is in a fantastic location for those who are visiting Bangkok on a shopping trip!! It is excellent value for money and the proximity to MBK mall, which you access from Level 1 and 2 of the hotel and other shopping malls closeby is great! The recent refurbishment makes it an appealing option also.
Shopping Tip : Fantastic location for those who want to shop at MBK which you access from Level 1 and 2 of hotel!! A 5 - 10 minute taxi ride to Salim Village which is great for those who are looking for handbags!!

Great rooms, great service. Nice that MBK is just wall to wall.
We stayed at this hotel two nights and we were extremly pleased with our stay. The rooms were very nice and the service was flawless. There are great restaurants within the hotel and and extra plus is that the big shopping mall called MBK is right by the hotel. You can even walk directly into the shopping mall from the hotel.

Location, pool, speciaous room
breakfast selection variety of food can be improved.
I have been staying in this hotel for almost over 10 years but always find the room was getting old especially the furnitures, water pressure, linens etc. The recent visit was a big surprise for me. The hotel rooms have all been renovated, I like that bath room, the colour scheme, of course the flat panel TVs. I feel very comfotable staying in the room for my three nite stay there.
Shopping Tip : Very near to MBK

Breakfast spread was as usual awesome
This is our 5th stay at this hotel and I have never had any complaints however I was very disappointed this time when I was asked to tell my children to be quiet at the outdoor pool when they were playing a game with each other. I always remind them to keep their voices down inside the hotel, but kids should be allowed to be kids when they are playing outside. They weren't shrieking or splashing other guests but they were talking excitedly. This should be acceptable. if the hotel doesn't want children as guests, they should advertise the fact. Children are paying guests too and shouldn't be expected to be seen but not heard, especially in an outdoor venue!!
We often use this hotel as it is central and convenient and, in the past, always friendly and accommodating. The food is fantastic and plentiful. The shopping centres are easy to access and it is clean and beautifully maintained. We only have had one problem and that was at the pool this last visit, which deterred us from going there again, which disappointed the children. I am not sure after that if we will return to the P.P. I want to stay at hotels where my children are given as much respect as other guests and not asked to keep quiet when playing outside. I am very strict with them inside the hotel and cannot bear unruly children either, but children should be allowed to play in a pool without being expected to keep quiet.

Friends we asked recommended the Patumwan Princess to us and we were not disappointed. We had previously stayed at the Indra Regent, so when we arrived at the Patumwan we found a vastly superior hotel, newer, more modern and a great location, close to both Siam Square and Pathumwan. Staff were all very friendly and obligeing, most spoke English very well. The MBK next door was amazing we spent three days in there and still didnt see every floor.
Shopping Tip : Very close to the Suan Lum Night Bazaar, not to be missed

Great service, superb rooms, good buffet breakfast, great value, good pool and gym, great location for skytrain
We had a fantastic and very enjoyable five nights at a great price. The staff were very attentive and could not be faulted. Room was well appointed and seemed to be virtually new. We could reach everywhere we wanted to go via BTS and the river within half hour. Free internet but free wifi would be a nice addition.
Restaurant Tip : Gallery 11 near Nana station - great food and very affordable

Central, easy, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Great shopping and the sky train just outside the door.
I can't think of a bad thing to say.
The staff are this hotel's best asset, friendly accommodating and ever helpful. This was my 3rd visit and I will always stay her from now on. It is also conveniently central to all the shopping centres and sky train. The food is fantastic and everything is clean and upmarket. Unreal hotel to stay in, especially with 4 children!
Shopping Tip : Catch the skytrain to the Jutujak weekend markets and enjoy aday of wholesale market shopping. These markets have the best bargains in all of Thailand as far as I have experienced. They are huge!!

Great service, attentive and helpful staff, near to train station and shopping area
Great hotel, highly recommended. I got there late morning around 11.15am, but the staff got my room ready and allowed me to check in anyway. They were also knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me to the places I wanted to visit. Room was spacious and clean. Safe area, close to train station and shopping area. Nothing bad.

the hotel is well furnished. nice environment.
its a non-smoking hotel. should have allocate some smoking rooms for smoking guest. and should have free wireless for the guest rather then 15baht per minute.
Overall, I would say that Pathumwan Princess is a nice hotel. I would give it 8 out of 10 points. The 2 points I did not give it to them is because of the inconvenience for smoking. As it is a non-smoking hotel, guest would have to either go to the garden on the 8th floor or smoking lounge on the ground floor to smoke. And the garden is only open till 2330hrs. The other thing is the breakfast. Well, I don't think there is anything fantastic or rather I would say that the breakfast is kinda boring. Not much variety. One thing good about the hotel is that it is linked to the famous shopping mall, MBK in bangkok. It is also very near to the hotspot Pratunam, cost less then 50baht by cab, and actually if you know the way, it is actually within walking distance. It's also very near Suan Lum night bazaar. I like their toilet's decoration. Pathumwan Princess just newly renovated it's rooms and definitely it's worth staying. The hotel staffs are very friendly and they really make you feel warmly welcome. You hear sawadeeka, sawadeekup everywhere you go in the hotel, as long as you see their staffs! Cool =)
Pathumwan: Please allocate some smoking rooms!

Location! Location! Location!
I would say the price is on the high side consider that it's a 4* hotel.
Been to Bangkok numerous times and this's my first visit to the Princess and wow!! the location is excellent for anyone who is going bangkok for a shopping tour!! it's just way too convenient. 5 mins walk to MBK, then Siam Square, Hard Rock Cafe, etc etc etc...near to the train station too!!
Restaurant Tip : Go Chinatown for GOOD & CHEAP food!!
