Close to airport. Taxi from hotel to airport had cost me only 160 Baht! Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. I liked the kitchenette with the microwave and large fridge. Allows for simple cooking and heating up of food. At night, there are hawkers along the road at the back of the hotel near a 7-Eleven where you can sample some Thai food.
Somewhat segregated - so much so that even the taxi drivers don't know where the location of the hotel is. Also, the position of the TV in the room is too high, making viewing painful to the neck.
Hotel Feature Tip : Internet access is cheap - only 300 Baht for 5 days! Don't get the daily access unless you have to since it costs 100 Baht per day.

Service can definitely be improved. People were in hallways running around from 3 to 6am and when front desk was notified at 5 finally they did absolutely nothing.
The parra palace was nice because it was close to the airport but none of the taxi drivers knew how to get there. We were upgraded for free which was really nice to a great room on the top floor. However it lacked good cutomer service. The employees could definiteley be more considerate when it came to dealing with extremely disruptive guests. Unfortunately there were people in the hallways making noise til 6am. Even after being notified the employees never came to ask to quiet them down so we had to keep getting up to ask them to quiet down.

If you have done a lot of travelling & want somewhere close to the airport for a short & inexpensive stay then this is the place. It has most basic things, a small shop & inexpensive Thai food but is a long way from any nightlife. I would not recommend it for more than a night or two though.
Nightlife Tip : don't stay here!
