Good, but could be better.

Phachara suites are quite good, but there are better places to stay in the area. The room was pretty good, but seemed smaller than advertsied. I stayed in a Studio Deluxe and the view from the window was a wall. I therefore recommend asking for an outside room.
The breakfast was quite basic. In fact unless it is included for free I would recommend skipping the breakfast and eating out.
The WiFi worked well.
The Tuk Tuk service seemed to be a scheduled service. Many hotels in that area allow you to call the TukTuk to pick you up from Sukhumvit road. The Phachara Suites doesn't
In summary, I would probably stay there again, but it wouldn't be top of my list.

one again stayed at phachara and i find the rooms quiet and clean
its in the very bust part of bangkok and not an area i would think would be suitable for young children ( need i explain?)
having a washer/dryer combo in the room is a big bonus as the humid weather takes its toll on clothing.
the hotel is very close to restaurants and many bars and only a short walk to nana bts station
all in all a very pleasant hotel..

I found the staff extremely helpful while I was waiting for my luggage - it went astray somewhere between Dubai and Bangkok - to be returned to me. I was in an extremely bad mood and worried that that all my possession were lost forever as the airline had no idea what happened. But the staff at Phachara were very soothing and helpful and made the communication with Emirates Airlines go as smoothely as possible. While waiting I enjoyed the food and wine in the very nice comfortable restaurant.

location is very good. 5 min walk to nana bts station. it's near the loud entertainment area of nana, but still very quiet because it's off to a smaller street. the room is huge! very good for the price. however, i find the staff not as friendly and professional.

excellent place to stay in soi 6 which is close to everything.hotel staff are most professional, good English spoken and they provide a first class "no fuss" service. The pool is hardly used and is cooler than normal as it is covered. Breakfast is good but not exceptional. The bathroom is too small for this quality of hotel and the shower water not powerful enough.
Shopping Tip:
Terminal 21 is a must. has everything including loads of banks and atm's in the basement level.

Stayed 3 nights at the Phachara Suites and enjoyed the experience. The executive suite was huge and very well maintained. The pool was a little on the small side and quite cold considering the outside temperature. Had asked for a balcony but as we had requested a twin bed setup were unable to have this. The staff, except for the rude female on checkin, were exceptionally helpful. Was surprised that free wifi was not available in the rooms. Only free in the public areas which meant sitting around the pool or at breakfast for a little longer. Would return, probably next year

Great location with friendly staff. My suite lacked natural light in the lounge/kitchen area but the bedrooms were nice. Appreciate the little touches like washing machines and powder being provided and ipod docs. Would have been nice to have a proper coffee maker instead of those horrible instant sachets.
Disliked the fact that initially they tried to charge us $10 a day for internet use when almost all hotels in Bangkok provide it FOC although the manager reluctantly agreed to waive the cost. Also a bucket of ice was $3 which we thought was a bit of a rip off given that most hotels provide it FOC.
The breakfast was reasonable although a little crowded. The gym is okay but a little dated and small and the pool area was pleasant with some nice views although the water was very cold since the pool gets little direct sunlight.
All in all I'd definately stay here again, as long as internet was FOC!
