Good clean hotel in a convenient seedy area

staff had a great attitude. rooms reasonably appointed, very clean and new. the area around the hotel is filled with girly bars which was probably not ideal for my 13 yr old son. but there were enough other choices around to find good places for food, etc. very close to the skytrain, which we made liberal use of. staff were exceedingly polite and helpful.
some neighbors were loud, and the hallways do not absorb sound, so we could hear them 3 doors away with the doors closed.

Good hotel next to nightlife center

good hotel next to main night life center nana and close to renowned tailors.
overall a good simple hotel: not a lot of bells and whistles, but rooms are clean and spacious and equipped like apartments (w. washing machine, cooking facilities etc...)
we did not eat at the hotel and preferred the (numerous) street food restaurants and carts for lunches and dinners.
Shopping Tip:
Close to very renowned and good tailors

Great location with excellent staff
Close to public transport, nightlife but still quiet

We were very impressed with the quality and standard of this accommodation. The staff were very eager to please and hardworking. The laundry facilities and kitchenette in the room is a huge bonus. Would recommend this to others.
Restaurant Tip:
A visit to Condoms and Cabbages on Soi 12 is a must. Food is excellent and the money goes to preventing sexually transmitted diseases, birth control education and food and education for children in poor villages

I love this place

i regularly stay at this hotel and never have been disappointed. very nice and large rooms, good location to the main road. i rate this hotel as very good!
Nightlife Tip:
Check Inn 99. Best music by the Heart band. Perfect service and moderate pricing makes it nice

Just Brilliant

In all honesty I do not have a bed word to say about this hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful at all times and always wore a smile.
The room was an excellent layout, very clean and very comfortable.
Unfortunately I did not make the breakfast and so cannot comment on that but the food I had from the room service was pretty good.
I would definately stay in this hotel again and would have no hesiatation in recommending it to friends

Great Location

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times and would find it hard to stay at anyother hotel when visiting Bangkok.
The location is exellent right in the middle of the night life but far enough to be quiet.
A sky train station is only 10 mins walk away.

Clean, friendly staff, very accommodating, well presented. Bonus with having security walking around the hotel.

great place to stay. our first time in bangkok, thailand. staff friendly and very accommodating to any of our requests. toilet paper to be brought up to the room.
nb: one request before we visit again in the near future, would really like to have the australian network channel instaffed if possible?
overall we enjoyed our stay and will visit again in the future.
Shopping Tip:
Phachara Suites are centrally located within walking distance of a variety of good quality Tailors, shops and markets in the area.

Great Hotel, ideal location

This was my second visit and would take some persuading to stay in another hotel on my next visit to Bangkok. Excellent location close to Nana station. Staff exceptionally friendly. Rooms very modern, spacious and clean.

Large rooms with a beautiful view

The location of this hotel is ideal if you enjoy the nightlife of the Nana area including Nana Plaza. You can easily walk there. The rooms are nice and clean and even include a kitchen and washer/dryer. I utilized the washer/dryer and saved a lot of money by not paying the hotel to do the laundry. The breakfast was decent and I have no complaints. The hotel is located on a somewhat quiet street which makes it easy to walk along, however, far from the BTS Nana station and is why the hotel offers a Tuktuk to drive folks there. I would stay here again if I want to enjoy the Nana nightlife as its location is extremely ideal. Also there is a 7-11 convenience store right across the street which is a great thing.

I wouldn't rate it a 4.5 start property!

Rooms were very spacious. However, for this property being only 2 years old, I would say, the upkeep on it hasn't been "that great" This is according to the floors and bathrooms in the studio, we were in.
Although, I wouldn't rate this hotel a 4.5 star, I think a 3.5 star fits much better. The room was not very clean when checking in. Bathrooms and mirrors. Bathtub had that old orangish water ring and mold mildew on the tiles. Mirrors, probably haven't been wiped down in weeks or who knows maybe even months. Breakfast buffet was not much to be desired. serving powder scrambled eggs, should be a no, no! The selection was not impressive at all. Of course, on can not expext the Grand Hyatt's buffet, but I would think if you are rating and selling at a 4.5 level, the amenities and especially, breakfast has to be right up there. Everyone likes to start off the day with a good meal. Not to mention, although, the breakfast line did open on time, half of the items were not put out to some 30-40 minutes later. Not good if you are on a time schedule. Room service food was even much less to be desired as we had to call and send back the food, because it looked to be overcooked in "Old" oil. Some staff were nice and friendly, but it was hit and miss.. This was our 6th trip to bangkok and I can honestly say, that we have stayed at 6 stars, 5 stars, 3 stars and this place although, spacious didn't really live up to 4.5 star label. I've had better service from the 3 stars hotels in Bangkok. It is a good location and not far from nana station. If you don't feel up to doing the 5 minute walk there is tuk tuk service that the hotel provides. Wrap it all up, in my opinion, this place has to bring up its standards in different areas to call itself a 4.5 hotel.
