Great appartments - central location

This is the fourth time I have stayed here and I will certainly stay here again. These appartments come with everything the traveller needs, washing machine/dryer, iron, ironing board, all the facilities to cook yourself, if that's what you would like, plenty of hot water, and large rooms. There was a good choice of breakfast dishes, but the only thing that spoilt it was the food was never hot enough.
Shopping Tip:
Use the BTS for getting around the shops and restaurants. It's cheap, fast and easy to use.

Fantastic rooms, they have everything,location is good but hotel hard to find for taxis.Train is a 5 min walk.lts very clean and friendly.Has small gym and small breaky area.But its in the Nanai area so there is plenty of fun within walking distance.

Wanna be business class but not quite there
Close to Sukhumvit Road, BTS and Nana Plaza.

Phachara Suites is in Sukhumvit Soi 6 back of Nana Plaza, but far enough away to be quiet. The hotel is well-appointed with modern and good quality trimmings throughout. Room-sizes are large and well-appointed with full kitchenettes.
The suite I was given was a smoking one despite my booking request for non-smoking. I arrived with a bad head cold and intended to just curl up in the hotel for the rest of the day, but I just couldn't handle the smoky atmosphere - in less than an hour I was back at reception asking to change rooms (only the 2nd time in my life I've done so). They didn't have a non-smoking suite free, so I said I'd be happy to take a downgrade as I just couldn't stay in that room. I had to wait an hour, so I went to the restaurant to eat rather than go back to the room. 30 mins later the receptionist found me and gave me the key to a new room, with many gracious apologies. Kudos to her for that, apart from this I found the staff were trying so hard to be 'professional' they just came across as snobbish.
My new room was still very spacious, and blessedly smoke free! Now I was happy, and went to fill the tub to have a good soak.
The hot supply couldn't fill the tub. I ended up with a 1/3rd of a tub of luke-warm water that wasn't particularly pleasant to sit in, and 15 mins later the hot hadn't recovered enough to supply any more.
I later found that the hot could only just supply enough water for a one person shower, a second person would get a cold one. The bath was also not well installed, so the shower would flood the floor every time - a bit dodgy for older travelers. I guess it's individual tankage rather than a hot-loop supply (which would be business hotel standard).
The air con was good - almost too good; it was hard to find a balance of temp and fan speed that would leave the room just comfortable. But maybe I was oversensitive because of my cold.
Overall I did enjoy my stay, but would have been just as happy in a budget hotel.

We've stayed at Phachara Suites a number of times on our frequent visits to Bangkok and always find the staff (reception, cleaning, bell) to be friendly and efficient. On this particular trip we arrived early and the hotel was fully booked. The reception team did their best to make us comfortable while we waited for our room. Based on our positive experiences we will continue to stay with Phachara Suites.

a stylish hotel that is quiet, clean and spacious. easy to find and in a fantastic location. it is a short walk to the nana bts station. the breakfast was quite a good range but get there early. there is a small, but nice gym and swimming pool.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to Cabbage & Condoms at soi for some great Thai food.
