I stayed in an executive room, so take that into consideration. (On the other hand, the price difference for that is not large, so you should consider upgrading too.)
It was an excellent room, with a bed where I couldn't reach both sides if I tried, in any direction. Also the washing machine/dryer is a godsend if you like to travel with just a tiny bag and aren't the best at coping with the climate in Bangkok, like me.
That said, you shouldn't confuse this with some kind of real luxury hotel. It's quite close to soi Nana, for instance, and maybe not so family friendly because of that. It's also a city hotel, so if you want a large pool area and lounging around there, maybe it's not for you either. (I quite liked the pool, for lazing around and reading a book, but then I'm not very representative.)

This is a wonderful 4 star hotel. The staff were awesome and speak English well. The apartment style living was a home away from home. Very convenient that we were able to wash and dry our clothes before heading off to our next destination. Travelling with a young child, the kitchenette was great to make small meals and even to eat in if we had a long day. Very close to Sukhumvit and Siam shopping. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the area.
