Location close to subway.
Price.
Ample buffet breakfast.
Free Internet use in lobby.
Air conditioning was very weak - perhaps just a problem in my room. Did not have the problem the last time I stayed at this hotel.
Buffet breakfast is very ample, but never changes. It's the same day after day, and there was no change from the last time I was here. The hotel should make an effort to add some occasional variety such as perhaps a hot muesli choice, perhaps a different egg option than the ever-present omelet or fried eggs.
I've stayed here before and like the hotel. The room is well appointed, but air conditioning in my room was not very cold at all. Price is good and the hotel is just a short walk to the subway. The subway allows direct trains to Chatuchak Weekend Market without having to change lines. The free lobby Internet service is very popular and there is often a wait for one of the two available computers.

The food and room service was top class even for 200+ baht a meal, really excellent. Fridge was well stocked, with 2 free bottles of water, the rest at reasonable prices. Bed was comfortable.
Relatively near to suan lum market, 10 mins walk. 7-11 nearby. Nice pool upstairs.
Staying on the 11th floor and it stank of mould and mildew everywhere. Staff spoke very little english and could not accommodate most things. Manager was very rude. Walls too thin, could hear talking in adjacent rooms. Every morning would be woken up with renovation works on top floors. Hard to find by taxi the first, please print the name in thai and a map of you dont want to get lost.
Overall I would rate this as a less than satisfactory stay and would not recommend this hotel for first timers in bangkok as it would leave a bad impression of the city. The only good thing I would take from this hotel would be the excellent food and room service. Staff was unwilling or maybe incapable of any requests due to their poor english. Hotel floors reeked of mould and mildew. I would not say this is a family friendly hotel.
Shopping Tip : I found it much cheaper to grab a cab for most of the travelling as there were 4 of us and cab was always going to be cheaper, the lumpinee mrt station is at least 10 mins walk away.

Good location and good attitude staffs. The breakfast is also delicious and worthy. The wify is free to use in the room which is convenient for business travelers.
The appearance and some decoration of the hotel is a little old.
Good location and good attitude staffs. The breakfast is also delicious and worthy. The wify is free to use in the room which is convenient for business travelers. If I travel to bkk again, I will live in this hotel again. This hotel is oppiste to the Sum-num night marker and near silom and papong night markets,if u take the taxi just not over 40 bath.
Nightlife Tip : near papong and silom.

Clean room, easy access by taxi & MRT
Breakfast menu might need to be changed from day to day, not almost the same everyday
We stayed at Pinnacle Lumpinee Hotel on our last holiday in Bangkok this October after reading good reviews in Agoda, and it was a good decision as we have no complaints during our stay. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is very to access by taxi or MRT though during weekdays the traffic was quite bad but well, if there's no jam then it's not Bangkok :)
Across the road, it is the Suan Lum night market open until midnite and it's only one MRT stop to Silom area with its famous Patpong and various bars and restaurant.
Nightlife Tip : one MRT stop to Silom, the nightlife.
Across the Rama IV road, it is the Suan Lum Night Market

Very fresh entrance to Hotel, and relaxing check in. The refurbished rooms on 15th floor are pleasant.
In the refurbished rooms, the carpets LOOK very old and trodden, it is probably the tufted design that makes it look bad. Must use breakfast vouchers on the date written..ie cannot use earlier if bringing a friend for breakfast, even though we were unable to use ourselves on last day, because of 0530am check out.
We have stayed at this Hotel on previous occasions as it is reasonably priced and also close to the underground train, which is a bonus.
The staff are reasonably efficient and friendly, although they have to abide by some strict rules.
Check-in is a sit down time and they are usually prepared for guests arrival.
The newr Lumpini rooms on 15th floor are pleasant, although we did not like the carpet.
Good to have proper enclosed shower and not worried about slipping in the bath. Quite roomy and well equipped.
Recently the Hotel has added a swimming pool on the rooftop, to accompany the jacuzzi, and sauna and steam room. Very pleasant to relax there and watch the world go by.
Breakfast buffet is plentiful and unhurried.
Definitely worth re-visiting.
Hotel Feature Tip : 14th floor pool andjacuzzi and sauna and steam room and plenty of room for relax and sun bathe

Very low cost single room, good cable TV, good free wi-fi. The staff will accommodate your needs, are professional and all business.
I had to try several rooms and all smelled moldy and were ragged. The linen was clean and there were no bugs, but the mold smell was difficult to stomach.
Ok for a night if you're passing through. I suspect if you opt for more expensive rooms they'll be nicer. The Hotel itself is huge and lot's of people move through it.

- Clean beds and shower facilities
- Near Subway/MRT
- Friendly staff
- Some taxi drivers do not know this hotel, so get the hotel namecard.
A good value hotel. The two most important and basic needs that I look for in hotels are clean beds and shower facilities. The breakfast at the hotel is decent and is also value for money. I will return to stay at this hotel without hesitation.

Nice lobby.
Clean room.
Free wifi in room.
Good value.
Lumpinee subway station nearby
Plenty of street food near hotel
Suan Lum night bazaar across the street
Pool closing early.
Not many bars or night clubs near the hotel.
Some construction noise in the morning.
Some distance from the tourist sites.
Overall I was satisfied with my stay at the Pinnacle Lumpinee hotel. I actually extended my stay for a couple of days and I realized that I had to book my extended stay thru Agoda, or the hotel would charge me about twice the price (I just logged on to Agoda on my laptop to re-book).
Staff seemed friendly and could speak english.
Nightlife Tip : Initially, I couldnt find any bars or night life near the hotel, but then I discovered the Suan Lum night bazaar across the street. On one side of the bazaar there is a large food court and beer garden with lots and lots of choises. It also has a concert stage.

Air-con not working fine & room looks quite old even after renovated. Room are still using normal key instead of Card key.
There are not many restaurants in this area, but a few local eating shops at the main road if you don't mind to give a try. The runway look very faded & no air condition, they should consider to improve. The staffs are nice & friendly. Overall is worth to stay in this hotel for the price you pay for.

location and refurbished rooms
early AM construction and communications skills of employees
I stayed at this hotel before, it was a very acceptable stay. The reception personnel do not communicate well, but they are friendly and want to help, so put a bit of effort into this and you will be OK. The location is great, across from Lumpinee Muay Thai stadium and the Night Bazaar. The rooms are kept clean and tidy...as long as your schedule fits the needs and wants of the cleaners.....they leave to go home early.
