Price, location and facilities (gym, swimming pool).

Smell on the ground floor and grey sheets.

Location of hotel is very good and it is in 3 minutes of walk to Lumpinee subway station. In the opposite of hotel there is good Vincent's restaurant. Smell on the ground floor is not good, but after one day you get used to this. Sheets could be cleaner.

Shopping Tip : Good night market near the hotel.

Actually the crews are nice n friendly, but....! The price is really resonable!

They did the renovation in the first 2 days in my staying, the 1st morning I get awaken by the noise, but they had the notice already; then the other day, even I called the reception didn't know they still doing the renovation, when i called him, he still insisted there's no any noise there!! So I get woken up in the first two days by the noise!! N one day in my staying, cause I stayed in the room till 2pm, but even I placed the clean up notice at my door already, but after 6 hrs, still noone did it, then I conplaimed again, after 30 mins still no one did it. I have asked the manager to give me a compensation after that, but after I wrote a complaint letter (cause I couldn't meet her the last 2 days), it still have no respone now. And the English of the staff is really not good enough, they always didn't understand what I were saying.

I think they need to train up their crew to be more professional and better English! And the respone should need to be more efficient, especially the manageress, I always couldn't contacted her (she worked after 1 pm, and off on sunday, meeting on Mon)

Free wifi internet in the room, Location is near from subway, Breakfast was good

Lack of freshness/cleanliness, Grumpy Staff.

This is my 2nd time in Pinnacle Lumpinee Hotel. Last time it was 3 years back, and I loved it then. So, this time I chose the hotel again. And what a mistake it was! The hotel needs serious freshness makeover...the staffs are kinda...dead! No liveliness here. Even the big aquarium in the Lobby is depressing. There was a power outage during our stay...and call center had no clue what happened and when the power will be back. The Showers are dark...bathtubs are worn out. It is called Pinnacle Lumpinee SPA Hotel, but the SPA is closed and the reception has no info about it! Overall, not a holiday place...just good for bachelor stay. PS: They have poster in the hotel for promotion, which are a year old...they never bothered to change or correct dates.

Low price that includes a big breakfast buffet, free wi-fi in the bedroom, and access to the rooftop swimming pool, sauna and steam room.

Surly reception. The 'Land of Smiles' never seems to extend to service staff anywhere in Bangkok.

I predominately go to Bangkok to escape the pressures of the daily grind here in Bali and to work on the internet developing new sites. I find The Pinnacle perfect for that purpose with its good large rooms, free in-room wi-fi available 24 hours, breakfast buffet, access to roof top swimming pool, sauna and steam room whenever you need a break, and all at a VERY low cost!

Hotel Feature Tip : Only 3 minutes walk to Lumpinee underground railway station, from there you can almost go anywhere, very easily.

Budget-priced, beautifully decorated, excellent buffet breakfasts and lunches, small but pretty pool on rooftop with excellent view of the city. Easy walking distance to Skytrain and subway

The side street where the hotel is located is narrow and crowded with traffic. Lots of old shop houses around that gives the neighborhood a bit of a seedy appearance.

My wife and I were very pleased with the Lumpinee Pinnacle Hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated and sets the tone of the tasteful decor of the rooms, restaurant and pool area. The room was very clean with dependable hot water in the well equipped bathroom. Our room price gave us daily buffet breakfasts which were plentiful and delicious. We tried the lunch buffet and found that an excellent buy. Hotel staff was accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely stay at the Pinnacle Lumpinee again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is five minutes walk from Lumpinee Park where throngs of Bangkokians of all ages come for morning excercises and jogging. It's a real treat to join in with them or simply observe all the activities taking place. It's a taste of real Thailand.

Near Skytrain/Metro transport.Good breakfast.Not bad value.Free Internet in lobby.

A bit shabby & dated overall. not the best location.

Overall- fairly good value, although close to Metro/Skytrain statios, still a bit of a commute to Siam Centre shopping. Good buffet breakfast.Rooms a bit dark & gloomy, rooftop pool nice for a morning dip, but overall needs updating.I have found better accomodation more central to attractions in the Khoa San road area.

very close to Silom, they have parking and close to the freeway, good breakfast, nice pool on the top of the building

the airconditioner in the room could have been a little more effectiv, and there was a bit of a smell in the room

I liked staying at the hotel, I came with a car so very good that they had their owne parking and that it was very close to the freeway. It has a great location close to Silom and the public transport. The room was ok, some funny smell there only. The hotel is not very nice, and not bad, it´s average.

Never again will i stay here. Guest Rating: 4.3

Nice reception and good location.

Hotel and rooms dirty and not great value for what you pay.

I have stayed in this hotel before but will never stay here again.I found staff at the reception were only interested in getting as much money out of you as they can.I was with my wife and young son and my mother inlaw and also found this hotel very much a gay friendly hotel so be warned if this is not your thing.

Nice reception area and dining room. Nice to find a Hotel in a city centre with a pleasant roof terrace and pool area.

Rude or indifferent reception staff. One of our group ordered a beer on the roof terrace. It took 1.5 hours to arrive. Firstly it went to his room in error and then took two further calls before the beer was delivered.

On our three holidays to Thailand we have generally found the Thai people to be charming and helpful. Not I'm afraid something we experienced with you reception staff. We stayed for one night on the 17th Jan and all went well. We returned for the final two nights of our holiday on the 3rd Feb and was booked in by a female called Ng Piyamas - there was no friendlly greeting and she did not make eye contact during the entire procedue. I was then advised they would put a third bed in our room and I asked why as we had booked a double and a single room. It was confirmed that was a staff error. I was then advised there were no double available. No apology - more a question of take it or leave it. Also, the young chap on reception night duty gave the inpression he couldn't be bothered to give any service - not so much as a smile. This area is your initial contact point and as such is the face of your hoteland should at least appear friendly and helpful. On checking out - not so much as a 'thank you' or even goodbye. I suggest some training in customer service. You could learn a lot from the staff of the Deevana Patong in Phuket. In addition we stayed with you last year and for two days there was no hot water but we received no real apology. I'm not sure we would stay with you on future visits.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The lady in the tour guide office was very helpful.

The hotel is close to the underground - about five minutes walk. The rooms are large and fairly quiet. The breakfast is quite good and the service in the restaurant was great.

The staff are not particularly friendly, in fact the reception people seemed pretty nasty both when I checked in and checked out. There was a clearly visible chip under the TV stand that stayed there the two days that I was there.

It has a fairly convinient location, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Location was great, breakfast really good and the pool on the roof enjoyable.

The standard rooms need a little bit improving: in the beginnign shower didn't work, electricity was on and off etc.

The total impression of the hotal was good: friendly and tolerant atmosphere, nicely decorated lobbies (I loved the panels) and really good location. The pool on the roof was enjoyalbe, even quite small. The breakfast was good and service worked well. The standard rooms itself were moderate and perhaps they need a little bit improving. In the beginnign shower didn't work (it was however repaired), there were some problems with electricity (sometimes it went off) etc. There should be some computers more in the lobby becouse now the two compurets in customers disposal were always occupied. But in general I enjoyed my staying in hotel and will surely come back.

Good location. Good size room. Good selection fast breakfast.

Rooms smelled heavily of smoke. No towels at the pool. Very unfriendly staff upon arrival (much nicer when we checked out). The guy in the sightseeing room will try and rip you off with his taxi guys, so get your own.

The last time we stayed here things were better. This time the check-in staff was quite cold. The room was a good size but reaked so bad of cigarette. When we wanted to use the pool, there were no towels and when I called the front desk she asked us to wait. We waited about 10 minutes and finally just left. I think with the competition sprouting up in the area, conditions should change. Great breakfast for an international guest.

Travel tip : There is a newish Ibis Hotel down the street. Much cleaner and better standards usually at Ibis Hotels.

For the room price, the included breakfast buffet is quite good. To have free wi-fi in the room is very convenient.

For the 1st 5 days there were constant problems with the room wi-fi, either connection problems or problems with the hotel server.

Overall The Pinnacle represents great value. Large comfortable rooms, very quiet, and with the added advantage of free wi-fi in the room [free PC's in foyer for those without laptops]. Good buffet breakfast, included in price, together with free internet represents quite a discount on the room rate for the business traveller. Overall the staff are quite friendly and helpful, by Bangkok standards where surliness and disinterest are the norm.

Hotel Feature Tip : Only 3 minutes from Lumpinee MRT station, very convenient to both Silom and Sukhumvit areas.

Excellent service and security.

Breakfast could be improved; small selection; not best quality.

I’ve stayed at many hotels in Bangkok and it’s difficult to find one that meets all one’s needs: price, location, service, cleanliness, etc. But in the lower price range it is hard to beat the Pinnacle Lumpinee. It has been newly renovated, and for the price is hard to beat. I’ve never had any serious problems or complaints with this hotel, and now use it regularly.

Hotel Feature Tip : They now offer free Internet service in the lobby, and free wi-fi from the rooms, a nice addition indeed to their services!
