Great Value!
Big buffet breakfast, free internet, swimming pool, sauna and steam on the roof.
7.3
Still the best allround value in Bangkok, parfticularly in the Silom area.
Restaurant Tip:
Not far away, at the Metropolitan Hotel in Sathorn South is worldclass Thai restaurant Nahm, headed by Australia's David Thompson, even acknowledge by Thais who know as the best in the world. A balanced feast of VERY original Thai, full of flavour, Nahm even has brilliant young wait staff, all polite with good English and food knowledge, a rarity in Thailand.

I was upgraded to Pinnacle Room upon arrival due to overbook factor. The hotel staffs may not be happy as shown from their faces but i was too happy to accept the offer. Guessed i was lucky since this is my 3rd visit to Pinacle Lumpinee. Third time luck they call it.
The room was remarkable. Clean, nice decors and soft bed. The pool and sauna was just 50m away and i had a luxury time pampering myself. Heaven!
Breakfast was spread of variety of choices from American, Thai and Chinese.
If you a gay, this is the hotel for YOU. Plenty of eye candy and gay couples walking in and out of the hotel.
Overall, i had a great stay as the metro is just 200m away and plenty of food nearby. Excellent location with Lumpini Park just across the street which was the main idea i stay here over and over again as i am a keen runner.
Two thumbs up!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Lumpini MRT just 200m away. Convenience stores all located nearby. If you get lost in busy Bangkok, tell the cab driver/tuk tuk to bring you to Lumpini Boxing Stadium. The hotel is just across the street.

Good value for money in good location
rooftop pool area is quiet oasis, extensive breakfast buffet, good quality bathroom amenities

Room was clean and well made-up. The WiFi did not always work. Bad coffee and not very good selection of food items available outside breakfast and lunch buffet hours. But pleasant relaxed atmosphere, some enthusiastically noisy and bustly tour groups from Eastern Europe. All in all acceptably good for the price. Close walk to MRT.
Travel tip:
Check that TV remote control is functioning when the bell boy switches on the TV as you first enter your room. Try the rools and pastries at breakfast.

Value for money
good location/next to metro station; swimming pool, clean room, close to nice Lumphini park.
8.7
It's nice hotel to stay for the limited amount of money. It had everything we needed: good location and connection via metro, Tesco market just around the corner, swimming pool, quite nice breakfast, comfortable room with bath.

it depends on which person you meet at the front desk. they enforce service charge of 500b for any visitors after 11pm. and i just had a friend visit, not even a bar boy or anything.

Has Never Disappointed Me
8.3
Have stayed here 5 times over the last 3 years and the hotel - although is not a 5 star it is a very clean and respectable hotel that is close to the PatPong (show, and entertainment) district. The subway and light rapid transit and the embassies are all very close. Brought with me this time, a married couple from L.A. who has traveled extensively and they too were happy with the hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
As you come out of the hotel turn left and go to the 'fork' in the road that has the road going to the 'right' (not the left) and then (you can also cut through the parking lot of the resturant that is on the corner. Right beside this restaurant is a very small restaurant called (Mali Restaurant) Very good food and you feel like you have entered someones pvt. home with the decor and the owner is always (an older gentleman) is there to greet you.

a pleasant surprise
new room, good size, clean
6.7
but to my pleasant surprise, my room (upgraded to deluxe) is great, i totally enjoy the stay and its great value for money!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
taxi in bangkok is super cheap, if you travel in a group as small as 2-3, it make more sense to take taxi...
but most taxi driver dont understand even the address written in English, hahahah, lucky we take picture of the map of our destination, and just show the pic (on iphone) to the driver.
