Pleasant staff but boring breakfast

I booked a deluxe room which is quite nice but did not have a decent TV and DVD player which i wanted for days when i felt like doing nothing but staying in bed. I upgraded to Pinnacle room which had a great TV and had a DVD player but it was not as nice as a deluxe room. It had old stained carpets and unpleasant smells.
Breakfast at this hotel is the same everyday and it get's very boring.

The hotel is located 5 min walk from the Pinnacle Lumpinee mrt station , A small pool and Jacuzzi at the roof top on level 14th. Breakfast spread is great. Overall a steal with the rate one gets from booking with Agoda. 3-5 mins walk to MRT - Lumpini station.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
location close to Lumpini MRT, easy to reach different parts of BKK easily, from the airport to this hotel , you only paid 400 baths ,and from this hotel the good thing is MRT station , just take about 5 mins from the hotel to the station,

The location is good - close to the MRT station. The breakfast is the same everyday. By the third day, I didn't even bother to eat it. I paid for one of the most expensive room they have but there was no bath tub and the room was the same size as the standard room. There were only two bath towels for two of us. So as a whole, for the price I paid, the hotel was poor value.

Good laocation,near Sirikit Convention

As we have to work at Sirikit Convention for
at least 2 times a year,we are happy to stay in
this hotel.Comfortable room and easy for tranportation
by subway
Shopping Tip:
Not far from Silom Road and good for people who
enjoy a night life in those area and also for shopping
along the street during night and big department store
for day time.

Breakfast buffet. A nice variety of food. No problems with internet. No elevator from ground to lobby. Pool looked nice event though I did not have time to try it out.

I am disappointed by this hotel. The room had 60 to 70 decor and the atmosphere is indeed dated. The bathroom had a shower that leaked water rather than a real shower and the toilet had a weak flush. Service was good and helpful.
Travel tip:
I would give it a pass until the hotel is renovated.
