Centralised hotel
centralised location, near to public transport, lots of convineint stores and easy to find food.

Pinnacle Lumpinee Hotel is located at a very centralised location in bangkok. The mrt station (Lumpinee station) is just a short work from the hotel. There are also plenty of taxi available just in front of the hotel. There are also few 7-11s and tesco lotus near the hotel. There are also some shops selling thai and chinese food which is very convenient if you opted not to go far to have your meal. The breakfast at the hotel is also quite good as they change some of the menu daily.

Reasonable ,Clean and Quiet hotel

I've been staying in this hotel ever since my first trip to Bangkok 6 years ago, this was my 9th or 10th time coming to Bangkok.The reason why we chose this hotel mainly because of its reasonable price, good breakfast varieties(although sometimes we get bored of it a little as they didnt change their menu for 6 years,it's still very good compared to other hotels as believe other hotels are not able to offer this much with this price.)Just two minutes walking distance to MRT Lumpini station, one station away from Silom area. Very quiet and clean hotel. I feel sometime the air-cond is not functioning during midnight or it’s just my room air-cond is not working. One thing that gives a minus is their internet connection, it’s poor or even no connection. I was being told that the internet service is available and free but we seems very difficult to connect to their WiFi, perhaps the hotel management should start looking at this area for improvement? From hotel to Don Mueng airport is just 30 minutes with 200bahts. Front desk service is another area to improve, sometimes there is no one at the front desk and we have to wait. Check in/Check out is a bit taking time too. Hopefully this hotel can do some upgrades as it looks a bit old, just suggestion as we have no issue on that because we only look for clean room and good service. =)Overall we are pretty happy staying in this hotel.

I stayed here because it was very close to where my meetings were. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. It was a welcome relief at the end of the day to come back and relax in a nice environment.

I must say you get what you pay for, room and bathroom is comfortable enough but not fantastic (it's a 3 star hotel anyways)
Hotel is located near Lumphini MRT station but there isnt much around the area, no bars within walking distance if that is what you are looking for. Would choose to stay another area for my next visit.
One thing i love about this hotel is the friendly staff themselves, they even offer hugs prior to my departure haha.

Average affordable hotel with a tight budget

My wife and little daughter (less than 2 years) was with me in Bangkok and we needed a hotel that is close to public transport. My daughter love to swim so we got this place. The room size is sufficient. Sadly my daughter didn't get to swim as the pool was on the roof and the water seemed unclean. I wanted to soak in the jacuzzi but didn't know how to turn the bubbles on nor was there anyone to help. The hotel is old but it seemed to be recently renovated. We bought our own own bottled water. We consumed it in our hotel room but the hotel wanted to charge us when we checked out. Only when I mentioned that we did not touch the water in the minibar and the water was ours purchased at 7eleven, then they waived the charge. I think the room service saw the thrown bottles and assumed we consumed the water from the minibar.
They also refused our request for a late checkout even seeing my wife was pregnant and we have our little daughter with us. If we can afford it, we won't return to this hotel.

- 5 minutes walk to the MRT
- Close to town (Silom, MBK, Pantip Plaza areas within 100 - 200 baht when taking a tuk tuk)
Cons:
- Internet was average to sometimes slow
- Pool was dirty
- Didn't know we had to CHANGE trains to get to SIlom or Pantip. BTS Sala Deang is only 2 streets away but the MRT do not connect to it. Need to change trains line at Siam, and have to walk for about 7-10 minutes between train lines.

I book this hotel every time I'm in Bangkok, except once. It's value for money. The room is generally clean but I saw a crockroach in the bathroom once.
The English movies on TV are in Thai with Thai subtitles which is bad as most guest are english speaking.
As a regular guest, I hope the hotel would have my record and not ask me to fill up a form each time I visited.
