Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Value for money, great service, efficient polite and friendly.
I again booked through Agoda and have not been disappointed the hotel is exactly as it was advertised. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The suites were large, very clean well appointed i have absolutely no complaints what so ever and I would recommend to everyone within that budget range.
What a great stay thanks
Nightlife Tip : Try Next Bar, great place to lounge

- Very helpful service from the reception and hotel staff.
- Shuttle Took took is very good idea.
-Location: the hotel is too far back to the end of the Soi-11, it is too far to walk to the hotel from the main road, the only way is to get a taxi or Tuk-tuk.
- Room furnitures need upgraded, we stayed at the Platinum Suite, the Jaccuci is not in good condition, the air-condition is too noisy. The water is leaking in the bathroom and from the kitchen sink.
Good hotel, but not to most convenient to go to from the main road. Furniture and facility in the room need upgrade and keep to good condition. The Shuttle Tuk-tuk to take guest from the Nana station every 5-10 mins will be great.
Very good and helpful service from hotel staff, keep on good work.

Services and friendly staff
The location is to far back from The main road and the nana bts station
The location is too far back from the main road and from the Nana bts station- not suitable to walk in from the main road with pram, has to get a taxi everytime coming back to the hotel. The shuttle tuk-tuk service from the hotel to the main road is a good idea, should have similar service from the main road to the hotel. The patinum was not maintain well, the facility need upgrading.
Nightlife Tip : It is very near to the bed supper club!

Platinum Suite was really nice compare to the price they charge for it.Internet is free of charge and really with high speed.Staff is very nice and friendly.
Breakfast is small and hard to find what to eat. In 2 days you will get sick of breakfast they offer.
I liked this hotel and thinking about staying there again. My friends stayed in some other room type, they didn't like it.Nearest hotel on the same street has also name President something...So, if you go there, make sure you checked the name of the hotel before you get out of car.

Large comfortable well appointed suites.
Great value for money.
Staff.
Location.
Free high speed internet access.
Sometimes a little difficult to log on to internet, although once connected it performed very well. Otherwise I couldn't fault it.
I stayed in Solitaire Suite 510. The room was large (approx 70 sq.m.)& it was very well appointed. I stayed 7 days & really appreciated the space afforded.
Unbelievable value for money when compared to other hotels I have stayed at in the past in Bangkok.
All staff were very well presented, efficient & friendly. Most staff have sound English speaking skills.
The Sukhumvit area is convenient for my business contacts, so the location was excellent. Just a short walk down Soi 11 to Nana Station or take the complimentary tuk-tuk.
The free high speed broadband was also a consideration when choosing to stay at President Solitaire.
If management can continue to provide a quality product at such great value for money I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Bangkok.
Hotel Feature Tip : Excellent buffet breakfast

The jacuzzi was nice and there was plenty of space. The room was clean and well appointed. The gym and pool are nice. The staff were very personable and helpful. Room service was very good.
My tvs didn't work or were very unreliable and there was no balcony. Other than that, I have not complaints.

Free wireless , tuk tuk shuttle to BTS.
We thought we would have a change and stay somewhere different this time in Bangkok. We stayed in a suite and while clean and tidy an update is required. We were very disappointed with the service, on check in, our porter took us to our room. He attempted to put the TV on for us but it would not work. He told us he would send someone to fix it for us. We waited and waited but no one came. I went to the reception desk and reported that the TV would not work and was told someone would be straight up to fix it. No one came, so back down to reception and was told the same thing. During our two day stay we had no TV which I consider poor when you take the trouble to book a suite. We will no bother to stay here again. The only good performance was on our departure, the porter would not let us into a taxi. We found out the driver was drunk, so he probably saved us from an accident, its a pity that the porter showed more regard to us us in 5 minutes that the rest of the staff did in 2 days.

Nice comfortable room, clean and very conducive for working as an office. I managed to work till 2 am every day.
Cannot get to sleep because of the irritating noise from the air-condioner blower and exhaust fan from the toilet. Else, it is a great place to stay.
Shopping Tip : Take the BTS to Siam Square or MBK for more varieties and better deals

Good location, very friendly staff, nice large room, great value for money.
None really, air con a little noisy at night but thats about it
Had 8 nights here recently, hard to beat this hotel for value for money. Have stayed at quite a few BKK suite hotels and this one stacks up against any of them. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Nightlife Tip : Avoid the Q Bar around the corner. I have met very few annoying and obnoxious Thais but the guy on the door was a prick.

Extremely Large Rooms at much cheaper rates than the international 5 stars.
At the end of an interesting soi.
Close to the action on Sumkumvit Road.
Plenty of dinner venues, clean massage spas.
A little dated. Sometimes the service can be a bit abrupt. One thing that has to change is the bed covers! They are old old old!
Checked into the Platinum Suite at the President Solitaire and stayed for a total of three nights. Got nearly 30-35% off the rack rate after booking through Agoda. Was a little concerned since I read in some other reviews about questionable service and the fact that some of the rooms were worn out. Did not find that to be the case at all!
The suite I was in had obviously been around for a while but definitely cannot question the cleanliness.
Spotless and the jacuzzi while a little small, was still sparkling. No evidence of grouting or any kind of unpleasant mildew in the tiling.
If you have a lady friend, the bathroom serves as a excellent distraction for the night. The bed is also large and comfortable with a 42" plasma with the standard cable tv channels including HBO. The blankets were however very old and kinda rough so I just threw them into the closet and used the bed spread.
Fully equipped kitchenette came in very useful with microwave and a cosy (read small) dining area. Living room was also well thought out, and the fabric sofa was very comfortable to lounge in.
All in all, will definitely stay here again. Just bear in mind some of the negative reviews were for lower floor rooms. I wasn't on the club floors (10-12), but the 8th floor and everything was nice!

Extremely spacious rooms, nice lcd tv in the diamond suite, close to major clubs like bed etc.
Ants in room?, jacuzzi was ok nothing crazy, confused reception staff!
went for a work visit, spacious rooms were nice, but the room had ants which i couldn't figure out where they were coming from. People at reception did not know we had a late check out even though i had called in the day before and informed the reception, due to which they were being rude with my associate saying there will be an additional cost! Other than that everything else was nice, the pool was clean, music was interesting, promotional things like free entry to clubs like bed were great and the ananda spa was awesome fell asleep in all my massages! But in my opinion good value for money, the lcd was giving me problems on the last night couldnt, tv channels were less not too great, luckily the us open entertained me, wi-fi functioned well and was free which was great! All and all i would definitely recommend the place, just the staff needs to be a little more acceptable. Plus my credit card charges which were put as a safety fee still have not be reversed!
Nightlife Tip : bed is amazingly close by plus a couple more clubs, didnt get a chance to see it but if you're a definite bed fan its literally a walk away!

Lovely, very large room with living area, kitchenette, and dining table for two. Decorated well. Clean and very quiet. Very helpful staff, good restaurant, well situated.
I'm pleased to be asked to review this hotel, as I read the reviews of it on Agoda before we booked it, and they were mixed. Some people were positive, others said it was dirty or dated. We found it to be an excellent value, very clean, and not at all dated. It felt more like a home than a hotel room, as it was quite large, lovely wood floors, shower and tub, and two sinks in the bathroom. The furniture in the living area was really comfortable. We didn't cook (who goes to Bangkok to cook??), but were glad to be able to make tea in the afternoon and have a refrigerator to store anything that needed to be kept cold. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. We had planned to eat out all meals, but the restaurant at the hotel had really good Thai food, so we just ate dinner there. We walked everywhere in the Sukumvit area from the hotel. We were well away from the backpacker scene--no huge crowds of drunk twenty-somethings. There were always about 15 taxis waiting in front of the hotel, so getting back to the airport and to more far-flung sites was easy and cheap.
Travel tip : The food available from street vendors on Sukhumvit was fantastic. This was the reason for our visit (eating local). Sukhumvit Road is crowded but interesting--not awash with tourists, mostly local people. Really a fun area with interesting shops and food.

Breakfast was excellent and good value. Rooms large and spacious.
On the Agoda website it said only a few steps away from Nana Station! Yes only a few steps into the Tuk Tuk which takes you to Nana station IF it is available.
On searching throught the Agoda website for a suitable Hotel to stay in while I was in Bangkok for three nights, decided to opt for the Solitaire. Taxi driver at first struggled to find it as there where other President Hotels in the area. Eventually go to the Hotel. Checked in and asked how far it was to Nana Station they said either 5 minutes (in traffic jams)in a free Tuk Tuk service or around 10 minutes walk (hot and humid) anyway got the room 609 which was a corner suite. I really did not have a probelm with the room maybe only complaint was that it was possibily too big (Bedroom, Lounge, Kitchen, Dining area and huge bathroom with jacuzzi) for what we wanted, there where light switches everywhere, and even if you put off the master light some of the others stayed on! Room waas always cleaned well, and the staff where pleasant enough. There was confusion with the booking whether Breakfast was included or not 9I thought that it was at booking) but had no problems paying the 300 Baht for what was an excellent choice and very good quality.
had Lunch there the first day that we arrived and found that a little expensive for Bangkok.
Restaurant Tip : If you haven't got breakfast included pay the 300 Baht I am sure that you will not be dissapointed.
