the 2-bedroom suite we booked was a bit run-down (dated) and clearly not used for a while. it was clean, but dusty all over with dead bugs on the floor.
lovely views form the rooms (18th floor), but you are not allowed to open the windows/sliding doors. pity.
the hotel is massive, so you may have to walk quite some distance to get to the tower in which your room is.
the breakfast was good (not great), but you certainly had a large selection to choose from. they run out of beacon an hour before the breakfast ended and didn't bother to make more. the coffee was not nice at all.
the hotel is very big & busy, so you can expect to wait for a while for check-in and check-out.
the area in which the hotel is located is not nice at all.

Trip from airport to hotel took 40 min.(400 Bath). Check-in was fast, breakfast OK. There are 4 towers in the hotel(A,B.C.D.)Rooms are not the same. In tower C rooms are smaler and not so comfortable as in tower A (We have stayed in both).Hotel is close to everything:MBK, Paragon shiping centers 4 min. by water taxi, Golden mount, What Lo 2 min. by water taxi(10Bath per person), Grand palace 10 min. by taxi. 7/11 just around the corner.If you are ready to eat on the street you wont have a problem with dinner or lunch. There are no restaurants in this area.

This is our second time our family had stayed at this hotel it is modern and very clean and great location to shops.We would recommended The Prince Palace Hotel to our friends and relative. The customer service is very good and room service IS excellent. Breakfast was fantastic a lot of variety of food and fresh.

The suite is big enough, nice city view. The receptions was very helpful for directions to tourist attractions. Don't forget to ask them about the fare of taxi or transportation that you want to take and the writing (in thai language) of the places that you want to visit (not all taxi drivers know how to read the English alphabetical words. The hotel has a good location to go to airport, tourist attractions like Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Wat Arun and shopping area (MBK - siam square)

I've been traveling to Thailand for more than 8 years and spent almost a year in hotels, I've never seen a worse hotel than this one. Yes, it is big but it is absent basic qualities. The security guard asked money from me when he saw me on the hall with my Thai wife . Rooms are incredibly noisy and dirty. No batteries in remotes, air conditioners are probably older than you! There are yellow marks on the bed sheets, killed one cockroach and they charge 90 baht for one water while it is 10 baht at a 7 eleven outside. Horrible location, nothing close anywhere and taxi's will rip yo off big time. Horrible place. I would sue them if I have the time...
