Have stayed here a total of three times now, always look at this hotle as a priority and see what price is before i ever look at at any hotel when staying/passing through Bangkok. Staffare superb, rooms always well presented,breakfast has everything you would look for. all in I would always recomend this hotel for all be you young , older or with family. Will definately stay agian when i retturn to Bangkok next year, this hotel is a gem and would recomend to anyone searching through numerous hotels on every website but in truth this is the hotel to choose. Thankns once again Prince Palace for a great stay. Staff here go over the step of being nice...I look forward to returning once again. thank you.

I liked the Palace.I only had some minor problems mainly related to language but the staff tried hard and worked things to my satisfaction.Location is ok with no shortage of taxi and tut tut.
Pool and meals good .nice ambience of an evening with live music poolside.Great value if you take a discount deal via Agoda.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The palace drivers for a day tour 1500 baht and ask for Sam, as he shows you around so you get driver and guide.

Rooms and floors are not perfectly clean, but for 50 USD it is value for money. We loved the restaurant with amazing view in 11th floor.

Far from the center of town, small rooms

this hotel was merely okay. it said that it was in the center of town, but it was very far from any of the tourist sights and not near a train station. the bo bae market happened everyday just outside of the hotel, which allowed you to explore a market extremely close by. the service was incredibly slow and the lobby was always full. breakfast was pretty good, but expensive if you did not include it in your room.
no restaurants nearby.

The location is not very good,most of the Taxi driver can’t find this hotel,so u had better get a “Location card” in the hotel lobby. the hotel facilities is quite old.Besides,the cleaning is good.

Value for money but poor counter service

The front counter service was a disappointment as there was no indication for check in & check out queues. The breakfast cafe was a disaster, as there was no staff leading you to a table. Everyone had to find a table amidst the crowd and the staff would still allow u to walk in when there are no empty/cleaned tables. Overall its worth the stay only as the rooms are big and spacious which is a value for money.

Cross the street and small river and you will get into the market that sell local food. One thing, they don't speak English, so will be a little bit hard to communicate
Ask hotel's receptionist to write down in Thai Character for hotel's address and your destination. Most taxi driver cannot understand the latin characters.
