agoda map was in wrong location,wasted 1hrs
nice airport arrangement , close to temples and rivers

the stay was present as it is near to the temples and river. prefer to have own transport if u are going on your own. Map in Agoda was totally wrong and I spend 1hr on the car searching high and low for it. Imagine the fee of the taxi !! waste of time and energy ! Other then that , the stay was present and nice.
The only good thing is the restaurant beside river.. abit of pricy .. other than that.. no much shop nearby... there is a night market , walking distance from hotel

Nice hotel, quiet with good sized rooms

stayed one night awaiting onward flight, was far enough away from airport not to be noisy but within 15 mins drive. had a pool that got the sun all day, rooms were a nice size. only issues i wld raise are the noisy lift bell that rang every 30 seconds whether the lift was in use or not and the poor state of the sun loungers around the pool. other than that a good place to stay for a cpl of days
Shopping Tip:
There is a good thai market within 5 mins walk from hotel beside the Big C. If you walk for another half hour in same direction there is a massive thai market selling everything you can imagine!

I was met at the airport as promised and would have arrived at airport in 15 minutes except for the famous Bangkok traffic. The return early in the morning was easy. The staff is efficient and friendly, the location is tucked off the street near a river, the room was huge and it was quiet. I enjoyed an excellent Thai massage right on site and would have enjoyed the pool if my stay had been longer.the restaurant disappointed me. I was looking forward to some nice Thai food and found only two items on the menu for a vegetarian, salad and a soup. They were out of the soup. If you eat meat and like beer it will be ok. The furnishings are basic and chep, but for the price it was fine. The room was very clean and bottled water was supplied. I would return.

This hotel is exactly as you would expect: a basic stopover hotel for people just arriving or just leaving for the airport. It's the kind of place you spend a night at to make getting to Suvarnabhumi airport simple the next day or early morning.
I stayed in Chiang Mai for 2 weeks, but direct flights home out of there were extremely expensive. It was much cheaper to fly into Bangkok, then get a hopper flight up to CM. However, to fly home, the only flight out of Bangkok was 7 in the morning. With no way to get back to BKK from Chiang Mai and catch that in the same day, your left with spending one night in the city. And that's where a place like Princess Airport Residence comes in.
Clean, spartan rooms, free WiFi, and an hourly shuttle to the airport 15 minutes away make this decent place to crash for a night. Friendly staff keep it running smoothly.
NOT a place to spend more than a night, simply because there really is nothing to do there or nearby. If you need to spend more than one night, just get a place in the city and enjoy it, otherwise you will be bored silly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nothing to speak of.

Good transfer service to airport

point one - the location is not where google maps suggests it is, it's about 7kms from the airport, not 2kms, but it's really not a big deal. they have an airport transfer bus (can) on the hour from very early in the morning which is quick and efficient. i'll see if i can fix the location in google.
good-sized rooms with a good bed, effective airconditioning and the best shower i had in two weeks in thailand - an electric heater that didn't run out! sparsely appointed but was fine for me. i came here on the basis that it was close to the airport and would make meeting my early flight easier. i won't bother next time, now i know the bkk airport train is so effective.
highlights of the hotel:
- friendly staff in the riverside restaurant, willing to have - a good pool, long enough for reasonable lap swimming
- good spa: i had a wonderful 2hr thai body scrub and aromatherapy massage for a$50 (1,500 baht). correct draping used at all times, no 'extras' offered or asked for (or wanted) - i just relaxed into a great experience from an experienced masseuse.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The pool and spa are great.
