I booked a double deluxe via Agoda for Pullman from 12 to 15 Jan 2008. The hotel upgraded me to a superior deluxe for free. Real good. And I love their tiny gift every evening: a fruit plate for the first night, then follows with cookies and the last are chocolates. It feels so sweet. It also tells how considerate this hotel is when you can find how complete a toilette kit they provide in the washroom. Everything you need - even mouthwash. And there's a toy frog in bathtub - so cute. And there are also some special offers to stay-in customers like buy-1-get-1-free drink and 30%off in their restaurant.
I found it quite comfortable with their staff, not overacting but remains approachable. Only if they can extend the free tuk-tuk (hotel-BTS) services a bit longer, it will be perfect.
And it's a bit far from Surawongse-Silom district, it takes 20 to 25 minutes by taxi. Some taxi-drivers might refuse to go there after late midnight. Perhaps the hotel is so new, some taxi-drivers are not so familiar with it. Make sure to ask for an address card in Thai!
Hotel Feature Tip : Pay attention at the promotion flyers on their room kit for special offers to stay-in guests. Don't miss them.

I took taxi meter from Ekkamai to hotel, cost only 70 baht. To Siam Paragon took around 50 baht.
Hotel Feature Tip : You better proactively ask for a new key if you request for a late check-out, although it should be their responsibility.

Good if they provide free internet access all day and extend check-out time to 4pm.
Restaurant Tip : Must try the roadside stalls along Soi Rangnam, just outside the hotel. The prata, phad thai, BBQ innards are nice!

The Pullman Hotel in Bangkok was a very pleasant change from what we had come to expect from Thai hotels, regardless of their star rating. The courteous and willing staff and very relaxing atmosphere were fantastic. The pool (full sun until about 3 pm) was also fabulous, although they could do with a few more lounges, they filled rapidly in the midday pool rush. True five star treatment. The room had all facilities: Internet, large screen TV, bath and shower, etc. and a lovely garden and pool view. (Superior room). We were sorry to have to leave.
Shopping Tip : If you are Australian, you will do well to purchase any liquids (perfumes or alcohol) from the King Power Duty Free Complex prior to your departure to the airport, so that you can put it in your checked luggage. New restrictions prevent you from purchasing anything over 100 ml at the airport to take on in your hand luggage.

Contemporary style hotel with a nice pool and very friendly services. Make you feel like a welcomed guest at all times.
Shopping Tip : 7-Eleven stores near both entrances to the hotel, on Sri Ayuttaya street and Rang Nam road.

The staffs greets us everyday very friendly.Overall the room stay is above average.We would like to stay there if we go japan again.We rented a car but there is not enough parking lot.We have to drive around to look for parking lot.The breakfast is the same every morning.

Still enjoy the stay from checking in right out to check out. Friendly staff and good space from lobby right up to the room. Food is good with longest spread for the 5 stars.
I will be coming back again.
Restaurant Tip : Good food and pub so should spend at least a full day enjoying the fare.

We were backpacking through Thailand and chose to stay here for a couple nights when we got there to sleep off the 24 hours of flying, etc. Turned out to be better than we thought, and we got a free upgrade to an executive suite. This got us free internet, free buffet & menu breakfast at the VIP lounge (great breakfast grub) and free drinks etc. We very much enjoyed this nice little pampering before setting out to "slum" it a little more for the next month!

Enjoyed our stay at new hotel. Rooms are contempory and staff profesional. Will definitely stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip : For those of us that stayed over the New Year (December 30 to January 2), don't assume we have checked out on January 1. Our room keys did not work, and rooms were not cleaned on the 1st. Inconvenient to have to remind staff that we did not check out, housekeeping to have rooms cleaned and card keys reissued.
