The Pullman remains an ideal choice for me due to its location for my work which is close by. The BTS station (Phayathai) is close by so getting around Bangkok including the major shopping and entertainment areas is easy and quick. Service at the hotel remains excellent - I started staying here the second day after it officially opened its doors to the public. The rooms are starting to slighty show their age due to the cheap, low quality furnishings (coffee table, work desk and counter) but nothing major or unsightly that detracts from one's stay. Its location off the main road means the hotel is an oasis of calm in busy and congested Bangkok.

Typical business hotel, but the walls are really thin, we could hear TV and conversation from rooms next to ours as well as above. Cleaning staff were shouting at each other as well. The room standard is fine, but there are these awkward sliding doors between the bedroom and bathroom, which doesn't give you much privacy if you are with 2 people.
Standard is OK, but will not stay again.

This is an excellent location for travelling to Hua Hin as there is mini-bus terminal (for heading to Hua Hin) nearby the hotel. The pressure of water tap is not adequate. The cleaniness of the room shall be improved. After the shower bath, the floor is splashed easily.

Thai Luxury without Airport Transfers

We had a great time at the hotel,but would have been hassle free if we had got Airport Transfer.
The rooms are good and luxurious and the complimentary Tuk Tuk ride to the Metro Station was worth it.

Nice hotel in a great location for shopping

This is a 5 star hotel that is nice but my room was showing so wear and tear. Rooms are a modern design and the beds are very comfortable. TV is good. The showers are good, with good pressure and temp. The pool is wonderful and huge. The location of the hotel is great and you can get anywhere from here easily (well, traffic allowing, of course). There is duty free shopping in the mall next door and there is a Thai mall just down the street on the corner with great food and prices.
Shopping Tip:
Go to the Thai mall just down the road on the corner. great night market there too.

We have read several comments and reviews about this hotel from tripadvisory and some other travelers websites, but to our surprise nothing but wonderful comments only as we experienced our stay in this hotel.
Take the trains(train express) from the airport towards phayathai, it was just around 60bath, if you are traveling in group you might consider taxi, although make sure the taxi is with meter.
from phayathai station take the subway card and board the subway towards victory monument. There will be tuktuk stands specially dedicated to pullman bangkok king power quests.
Pullman king power is just next to king power duty free mall.
The hotel will give you voucher for shopping but if you dont have time you can have the shopping in airport itself with slightly different in pricing around 10-20baht different.

Hotel room is big, but not nearby BTS

We booked twin beds room, but hotel mistakenly arranged King bed room to us. We requested to change, but they said the rooms were all full and only apoloygized to us. Since we checked-in at midnight, we had no choice to accept.
Hotel room is big and comfortable. But, the location is not nearby BTS. But, they have provided shuttle tu-tu to the nearest BTS which only take around 2 mins.
