the room stunk like a damp blanket that had mold on it for about 1 year. staff were impolite, not helpful. this hotel has to be the worst place i have ever stayed in. the room was like being stuffed in a stinky old boiler room. the furniture was old and decrepit. the walls had mold on them. the bathtub had black rings around it. this place is supposed to be 4 star. i would not even give it a rating. the restaurant staff were slow, not even a smile. unusual for thailand isnt it? the front desk staff were less than impressive. the place reminded me of kings cross train station in london. damp stinky and busy.. i wanted to stay there and relax and unwind. i experienced the opposite. the internet was that slow you had to pay for 1 day even to get to your link page. at least i got my money back for the worlds slowest internet. come on guys its the 21st century, get with the program.

large surrounding gardens access tricky if coming from Bangkok city (our taxi used the wrong u-turn which entailed going around twice)- maybe an extra sign would help.
A internet access computer should be available free to guests. We were received cheerfully by the check-in staff and doorman after a short trip from the airport - he acceeded readily to our request for a non-smoking room. Our room was big and comfortable with a good view over the front gardens. Breakfast had a big selection of western and asian dishes. The lobby is large and elegant. The shuttle buses to shopping centres etc are an excellent idea.

Silent place, clean room, smiling of all staff made us comfortable for my wife and myself. Even 4.5 star hotel, didn't available bathrobe. It's not about Hotel itself, but access by Taxi was very tough. Becuase taxi driver can't access smoothly due to long way from U turn.
But, it's no problem drive myself.
Anyhow nice place in the city, have nice garden.

Good restaurants Expensive internet, location This hotel is a long way from anywhere, and the shuttle buses are not frequent enough especially to the airport. It took over an hour to get there from the international airport, and city centre is at least 40 minutes away. However, as a self-contained resort it is fine - several good restaurants, a nice pool and surrounds and a good sports club/spa including tennis courts. My room was spacious, clean and well-equipped. Internet (cable) is expensive.

Great garden, good workout room In a very hard place to make a U turn. We stayed here for two nights just to get a break for our trip. The place is forgettable except for the wonderful garden that they do have with a decent pool for children. The breakfast was fine, the staff was fine and the room was clean and a little dated. Unless you want to use the pool, I would recommend the Amari Airport instead for a better value.

our room was not cleaned adequately.i lifted the lid on the toilet and it was disgusting. they had coffee cups and hot water with no coffee. chairs were old and needed replacing years ago. would not stay there again

Beauty salon and massage center The service is very good. The cable was broken in my room, and when I phoned the reception desk, some one from business center came to my room within a couple of minutes and tried to fix the problem.

The rooms, the pool, the fitness complex, the tennis courts, the fast internet connections and the free shuttles to places of interest around Bangkok. It's a bit more expensive than other hotels and it's pretty far out of center-city and very far from Survanibhumi Airport. The facilities are second to none, we particularly enjoyed the pool and fitness complex. The rooms are comfortable and very well cared for, they installed new Samsung Flat-Screen TVs in the rooms while we were there. The food at the breakfast buffet and the evening buffet is quite good, plus many other good restaurant options within the hotel itself.
Hotel Feature Tip : We brought cables to connect our notebook computer to the TV so that we could watch DVDs on evenings when we didn't want to go out.

Agoda and Miki Travel should be admonished for even offering this hotel. I have travelled to Thailand five times in seven years and this is undoubtedly the most unfriendly place I have ever stayed in Thailand. It is analgous to the beautiful woman with a hard cold heart. At first sight it appears very pleasant but from the moment we entered the un-air-conditioned lobby I felt a strange sense of discomfort with Rama Gardens. In Thai "Rama" refers to Kinglike. This place reflects an heir of superiority and unfriendliness. It would do well to learn from the common people of Thailand who are very warm and friendly. I booked it with Agoda/Miki for four nights but accepted a one night penalty of $85 US to cancel the last three nights to get out of this place. The breakfast was below standards also. We ordered room service and the food was cold and stale and of course overpriced. Enough said.

The hotel is indeed a resort style setup with many nice sporting facilities. Although I was a bit dissapointed that for the use of the tenis courts the guests are expected to pay for their use. The swimmingpool is a very nice design, with a cery nice bar in it. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the reataurants offer every fare immaginable at a very reasonable price (buffet at 412 Baht, absolutely worth it!)

Breakfast buffet is expansive and impressive. Deals offered on Agoda make this an attractive option on the outskirts of Bangkok.
